CNN senior political commentator and former Obama adviser David Axelrod said Monday on “Anderson Cooper 360” that President Donald Trump’s tariffs were the “beginning of the end” of the Trump presidency.
Axelrod said, “The thing that people most voted for Donald Trump to do was to reduce costs. These tariffs are going to raise costs, and automobiles are a big component of that. So he it’s not surprising to me that he has to bail out of this one.”

Axelrod needs to lighten up. His days are over.
Axelrod is bleating the party line. There are very few (if any) trusted and knowledgeable democrats, leftists, and Marxists. It’s basically talking points, and party mantra. It’s all very established and regimented.
Once his deals kick in this prediction is going to sour like milk in the hot sun.
I’m surprised Axelrod didn’t mention the tariffs are “extremely dangerous to our democracy”.

The Chinese have “captured” so many of our elites in this country. They are towing the Chinese line.
Hopefully, Congress can pass Trump’s one big beautiful bill, which will have a dramatic impact on the economy and the individual taxpayer. Couple that with some significant trade agreements with major trading partners and you have the start of the Golden Age.
