DEI Ends Lives

I do care about the 11 children, and let’s value the 50 adults as well.
I understand the use of children to attract attention, but 61 people were killed.
The video still looks intentional.
She wasn’t that skilled.
This isn’t DEI. This is a conversion to Islam or something similar.
Is it DEI because she was female? I’ve known too many female pilots who are excellent to blame her gender on this. Something else was going on.
I still wonder why the control tower didn’t tell the helicopter to stop and hover. All the info I read seems stupid. If it looks in any way like a crash or accident will happen most people do something to stop it. Not just accept the helicopter replies it sees blah blah blah. If the helicopter is acting wrong, take the next step and command them to stop.
DEI
More like DIE.
No one is blaming her gender and it’s fascinating that someone on FR would say such a thing. It’s about competency versus picking someone because of their gender, race, etc, not their aptitude. I knew of a guy who wanted to be a fire fighter. Young, strong, athletic. His physical tests were off the charts. He finished in the top 10% of his academic class. He wasn’t hired. Instead they chose a 5’ something woman who was way over weight. Who would you rather save you in a fire?

Ain’t got no time to let no man tell her what to do...

She was probably like “Hey dont tell me what to do Im a WOMAN stop mansplaining to me Im not a moron” well she turned out to be a total moron who killed 61 people its no wonder they tried so hard to hide her identity for DAYS
“This isn’t DEI. This is a conversion to Islam or something similar.”
I agree.
“Is it DEI because she was female? I’ve known too many female pilots who are excellent to blame her gender on this. Something else was going on.”
That is the evil of DEI, or affirmative action, other social engineering programs that circumvent meritocracy.
Women can be good pilots. I see on military type tv programs women landing on carriers. Anyone who can do that is a bad ass, regardless of race or gender.
The problem is, selected groups are advanced, with performance shortcomings, in order to fill quotas.

Ahh, ok, I understand what you’re saying. I did not consider that she may have been awarded the role of pilot *because* she was a female and may not have met all of the requirements. If she was given a easy path to her position by her superiors, then I agree, DEI.
If she met the requirements for her role just like everyone else, no “favorites”, then it has nothing to do with gender, something else was going on with her.
And not just in the helicopter.
ATC has some splainin’ to do...
The individuals manning the tower were DEI hires also, from the dark side of town. If you read all
the reports, there were even fist fights in the tower. And there was supposed to be another ATC in the
tower at the time of the accident but he left early that night and left his colleagues short staffed.
