Remember when Democrats thought they could manipulate public opinion by turning an alleged MS-13 gang member into their poster child for "wrongful deportation"? Well, that plan just crashed and burned spectacularly.
The left's desperate attempt to paint Kilmar Abrego Garcia as some innocent "Maryland man" wrongly expelled from our country has completely backfired. A new CBS News poll shows Americans aren't buying what the Democrats are selling. By a decisive 12-point margin (56%-44%), Americans support President Trump's aggressive deportation program.Â
Most Americans think Mr. Trump's policies have reduced border crossings. Most also continue to approve of his deportation program in general.
Meanwhile, three-quarters say it isn't acceptable if some legal residents are detained by mistake as part of that program. A large eight in 10 say it wouldn't be acceptable if some legal residents are deported to foreign countries.
Even more embarrassing for Democrats, that support has actually increased from earlier this month.

But wait, it gets better. Independent voters—you know, the ones Democrats desperately need—back Trump's deportation policies by 8 points (54%-46%). And men? They're all in, supporting deportations by a whopping 26-point margin (63%-37%).
This shouldn't surprise anyone paying attention. While Democrats and their media lapdogs have been busy shedding crocodile tears over Kilmar Abrego Garcia, they ignore or dispute his MS-13 ties, and completely ignore the domestic abuse accusations against him or his suspected involvement in human smuggling. Some innocent victim.

This is a CBS poll so your 90% might actually be accurate.
It ought to be 99%.
That’s because The Stupid Party does not know how to message. They still use flip charts and crayons attempting to convey facts. It’s embarrassing to watch Senator Cruz’s assistant handling cardboard on the easel.
Probably would be even higher had the White House didn’t say he was sent to El Salvador by accident.
I would like to see a credible poll ask this question:
By an executive order he may or may not have known he was making, President Biden gave blanket parole to immigrants from Venezuela, Cuba, and Haiti, bypassing the individual vetting required by law. Should President Trump be able to revoke that blanket parole by executive order?
The lefties will hate him no matter what he says or does.
And to compensate for that, good pollsters should give accurate information when they ask questions.
For instance, I would like to see a credible pollster ask this:
Should immigrants who enter the US illegally be allowed to remain in the US an average of 7 years while awaiting a scheduled immigration hearing that they may or may not attend?
Should immigrants who enter the US illegally be deportable without an immigration hearing, as has been done by every administration before the current one?
Women. The riddle that will never be solved.

The only reason the polls are even that close is because many respondents only get their information about the case from virulently anti-Trump news outlets like MS13BC, See B.S., The Ape Pee and other such “news” outlets.
Normal women make sense. Stupid women don’t, and we have way too many of those. Easily led by emotionally-manipulative, lying media.
Back when Terri Schiavo (sp?) was being starved to death, polls that asked generic questions using the actual facts of Terri’s case found a totally different result than polls that asked specifically about her. What those polls proved was that people responded to the name-specific polls based on the lies they had been told about her case. When they were given a hypothetical that matched the facts of her case, their opinion was totally different.
IOW, the polls showed that people were believing the media lies and that they would have gone against the media’s preferred conclusions if they had only known the truth.
Same thing here, and always. That’s why I say that good pollsters should provide accurate information when asking the question, to measure what people actually think and not just whether they are believing media lies.
Too bad so many on our side won't cut the cord to stop funding them.
