I regret only for the namesake that this airport should be shut down. It’s too close to an urban center and it will piss off the fat cats that like the convenience.
What about all those, including a family member of mine, killed in aviation crashes prior to DEI?
What program do I get to blame?

She wouldn’t be mansplained to.
Not the White Privilege Tone?? shudder. It sends chills up my spine to think about.
I hope the bi-otch had a second to realize she’d stubbornly killed everyone.
Well, that's interesting. Seems like this would've been among the first bit of dribs and drabs of information to come out. Maybe she wasn't a close aide but probably warranted at least a token acknowledgement of a tragic loss of a valued member of the "family" by Brandon.
“Lobach reportedly had 45 hours of flying experience and served as an aide to Joe Biden.“. Huh. And there is no connection here? Making a very costly political statement? Death for the progressive cause??
Occam’s razor is a useful tool but it is not conclusive. We know nothing of her personal life or relationships so if she had been trying to commit suicide with a grand exit Occam would keep us from seeing that. If someone pointed a gun at someone and it fired and killed the someone, Occam would be split between deliberate and accidental. I would want to know much more than what has been told before simply shrugging my shoulders and applying Occam’s razor.
Why do ppl post articles from this source. They can’t even get facts correct.
The female pilot had 500 hours of flight experience. Not 45. It was probably 45 hours in type, not total time — a ridiculous error by the writer.
Regarding the Occam’s Razor discussion, I disagree that the answer is “no.” To me it looks like “yes” is definitely on the table.
Female pilot at the controls when 64 died, Rebecca Lobach, had
45 hours flying experience..... and served as an aide to Joe Biden.
What else do you need to know?
This information has been known since the day after the accident.
Isn’t it amazing how long it took to come out, and in the NYT of all places?
Design, Manufacturing, Fueling, Maintenance, Procedures, Quality Assurance, Weather, and yes, possibly pilot errors. Causes related to the aircraft and systems have been getting exponentially better while Didn't Earn It (DEI) hiring is determinedly worsening.
It's not "pilot error" because these hires should never have been called "pilot".
Girl bossed too close to the sun. Unfortunately she took down a lot of unnecessary with her.
does the instructor co-pilot have the ability to take control from his\her seat ? like in a drivers ed car ?
DEI = an untrained person getting a trained person’s job
“New details about the fatal helicopter-plane crash near DC’s Reagan Airport reveal the female pilot was repeatedly ignored warnings from her male co-pilot to turn away but she flew right into the passenger jet.”
Expected from a DEI. As I continue to note here, the systems we have, what we call ‘civilization’, was created by NON-DEIs and intended to be operated by NON-DEIs. If we had designed our civilization for DEIs, it would be far more robust against errors and carelessness, but also far more primitive, as there are only limited resources that can be applied in any effort.
Many countries understand that, but we have a political party that gets nearly half of our votes that also understands it, but their power base is DEI, so it’s very, very, hard to now eliminate.
