First lady Melania Trump encouraged the President to start shaking hands with other world leaders during Pope Francis’ funeral Saturday.
At one point during the three-hour Catholic mass, attendees were invited to share the “sign of peace” by shaking hands with one another.
“Donald, look left,” Melania whispered, according to forensic lip reader Jeremy Freeman.
Following the first lady’s lead, Trump turned to Estonian President Alar Karis and Spain’s King Felipe VI, saying, “Great to see you, great to see you,” while shaking their hands, Freeman said.
Turning to his right, Trump then shakes hands with Finnish President Alexander Stubb, before going in for a prolonged, firm handshake with French President Emmanuel Macron, video showed.

Trump will do a 2 hr Q&A and they’ll ignore most of what he says but if it’s private THEN it’s important. The media is a complete and total joke.

This shaking hands is probably one of the filthiest transfer of germs that could happen. I refuse to do it in my church. I’m worse than Monk.
My dad hated it. He told us they didn’t start doing that until he was a young adult.
When my siblings and I were little, we thought it was funny to flash the peace sign ✌️at each other when they called for the sign of peace.
This is why people used to wear gloves whenever going out in public.
Refusal to routinely expose yourself to mundane germs is a guaranteed and proven way to crash your immune system. On the up side, doing this with kiddies at home will have them die first — you get to watch that. Mebbe it will be a learning moment for you.
Mebbe you could realign your attitude and not talk to someone like a jerk.

I shake hands with anybody, no matter how dirty they appear. Builds immunity. Builds character.
You can always wash your hands later when you get home before sticking your fingers up your nose and digging around in there. Maybe eating your boogers.
