Furious Donald Trump turns his fire on Putin in explosive rant: He’s stringing me along!
Daily Express ^ | 26th April 2025 | Mike Smiles

Donald Trump has broken his silence after a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky at Pope Francis' funeral - and turned on Vladimir Putin. In a rant on his social media platform Truth Social he accused the Russian President of stringing him along and at the same time blamed Democrat Presidents Obama and Biden for a "mess".

He wrote: "I’m just trying to clean up the mess that was left to me by Obama and Biden, and what a mess it is. With all of that being said, there was no reason for Putin to be shooting missiles into civilian areas, cities and towns, over the last few days. It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along, and has to be dealt with differently, through 'Banking' or 'Secondary Sanctions?' Too many people are dying!!!"

...In Moscow, President Putin issued a triumphant statement claiming Ukrainian forces had been removed from Russia's Kursk region where they have been fighting since a surprise incursion last summer. He boasted: "The complete defeat of our enemy along Kursk’s border region creates the right conditions for further successes for our troops and in other important areas of the front."

I think Trump all along has known that would happen, but he had to go through the motions to get to this point.

I would suspect by now everyone can see Trump says something positive or negative about each side every other day. It’s his approach to applying pressure in both directions.

I think you have Trump’s approach pegged perfectly.

This can be blamed on the DNC’s “media” toadies who ridiculed President Trump’s tariff deals with their lies and tantrums at every turn. They robbed the President of the United States of all of his credibility. The skanky refugee lesbo Karens and fag loaded judiciary took every ounce of Executive power Trump had. Now it’s Pooty Pooh’s turn to push Trump around and have to take crap from him. The “media” really does suck. The war and killing in the Ukraine will go on due to the ignorant, America-hating fags, lesbos and trannies in the DNC’s “media”.

There was no rant by Trump. The writers are idiots and liars.

Trump had better pay attention to his base and keeping his promises.

The latest Gallup poll shows 56% of Republicans think we're giving Ukraine too much assistance.

And, that number, obviously, is much higher with MAGA Republicans and conservatives.

Either we get paid back from Ukraine with a rare earth deals or pull out of this war altogether. Any other outcome will be a disaster for Trump.

I fail to perceive any “explosive rant” characteristics in that post by Trump.

"Biden's war" -- as stated by President Trump -- is fast being pressured by media into "Trump's war."

Yeah, it's Putin's war and it's Zelensky's war, and in the last US administration, it was Biden's war.

The Europeans and the US Democrats NEED this to become Trump's war going forward. Whether he "walks" or becomes deeply involved doesn't matter. The political opponents of President Trump will cal, it "Trump's war" to win -- or lose.

When waltzed into a rules-based order of an either-or game, there is always another option available.

I agree there are other options available to Trump. Walk away and go after the Mexican cartels. Let those two asshole countries duke it out. We got bigger fish to fry right now. They will be back when they realize no one cares.

BTW it has occurred to me that Putin has an overwhelming bit of influence he could offer to Trump.

He could claim the Senate Parliamentarian has been a Russian asset for years. Just sort of let that slip out one day.

No, MAGA commentary to counteract the globalist/Deep State propaganda here.

The VAST majority of Trump supports don't want to waste anymore taxpayer money or resources on Ukraine.

What about that don't you understand, Zeeptard?

It's past for Trump to get out of Ukraine and any money and military resources on the border and Mexican drug cartels.

The only national interest in Ukraine is getting our money back and it's obvious Zelensky isn't signing a rare earths deal.

If it all falls through and Russia wants to be a pariah nation that won’t be able to trade with EU for decades and accelerating their atrocious demographics by attrition of its young men, so be it.
Putin might be rewarded by becoming a very junior partner of emperor Xi.

"It makes me think that maybe he doesn’t want to stop the war, he’s just tapping me along"

And shockingly, nobody predicted that is exactly what was happening..../sarc.

Well, yes. That is true.

You kind of have to wonder how the President could claim that Putin is stringing him along when he previously stated that the war was actually started by Ukraine. I wonder if he has reconsidered that pronouncement.

Welcome to the real world, Donald. But it's ;ole;u Trump knew that about Putin all along and is jut now publicly acknowledging the facts in front of the whole world.

Trump should also acknowledge that Putin is a dictator and a terrorist, who is trying to terrorize Ukraine into a surrender. Logging missiles at civilian areas is not standard war behavior.

Putin cannot be negotiated with, and we'll have to deal with him sooner or later, perhaps even after a deal for a ceasefire is gotten. All of Ukraine is important for Putin and nothing less will appease him.
