Mohamed Adan Mohamed was arrested last week; a BCA agent said "there were strong indicators that Mohamed was preparing to conduct some sort of attack (Mass Casualty Event) in the next twenty-four hours."
The Blue Earth County Attorney’s Office has filed felony charges against Mohamed Adan Mohamed after he allegedly stole $2,150 worth of firearm magazines and made a threatening, anti-American post on social media.
According to the criminal complaint, Mohamed entered a Mankato store last week wearing a COVID mask, gloves, a green stalking cap, and a heavy winter coat. The 24-year-old reportedly began selecting high-priced items such as body armor, bear spray, and 9mm firearm magazines without checking prices. As such, the business became suspicious.
Court documents state that Mohamed’s visit to the store included him speaking to staff about an AR-style rifle he claimed to possess, leaving the store with approximately $2,150 worth of products, security attempting to stop him, and Mohamed fleeing in a car and “nearly [running] over a person.”
Mohamed reportedly left behind a list that he referred to as he selected products.
“At the top of the list it says ‘Survival Gear List with Alternative’ which included sleeping bag, lighters, 8 magazines, knives, pepper spray, a ‘6-mag chest right,’ bows and arrows,” says the criminal complaint. “Mohammed [sic] had stolen eight magazines.”
Further, court documents say that a police officer was recently on a call for service which involved social media posts Mohamed made featuring ammunition and guns. The officer noted that one of the posts showed Mohamed pointing an assault rifle at the camera and included the hashtag “#deathtoamerikkan&israelliImperialism.”
A special agent with Minnesota’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) who was aware of the social media postings and the alleged theft reportedly told law enforcement officials that “there were strong indicators that Mohamed was preparing to conduct some sort of attack (Mass Casualty Event) in the next twenty-four hours.”
The 24-year-old was subsequently charged with one count of felony theft and one count of felony threats of violence. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.
Court records indicate that Mohamed’s bail was set at $1 million with no conditions, or $500,000 with conditions. As of Tuesday morning, Mohamed was being held in Blue Earth County Jail.
The public defender representing Mohamed declined to comment.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Google the new book, The Gathering Storm. It talks about ISIS 10 men death squads causing mass casualty events and how to prepare your churches, businesses, schools. I just ordered mine from Amazon.
Is this a arab or a “black muslim” like the Nation of Islam or the Moorish Science Temple?

That jumped out at me too. Today’s journalists are among the stupidest in our society.
Drown the rat.

Now we know why the reading scores are so low. Hey, they get close, so just mark it “correct”.
Mankato, MN.
One of my best friends lives there.
If his family is conservative, they may want an honor killing. Look at the goofball.
Thanks.

Looks like a Somoli.
Permanently incarcerated Somali would be better. Incarcerated and then deported would be fantastic. I can think of other options which I’ll leave out, but they involve small arms.

I thought they meant green deerstalker cap, like Sherlock Holmes. Not inconspicuous that.
I find the ELCA Lutherans GUILTY.
This is their fault for importing enemy combatants in return for govt. money.
Catholic Charities is guilty too.
Thankfully, the police got this guy before he could shoot a bunch of people.
Longest neck I’ve ever see. It should get longer.
They are mega-stupid as well. But, this is low hanging fruit.
Who is the author of The Gathering Storm, please.
I’m finding a lot of different books.
