Watching the Dow on a daily basis will lead to heavy drinking.

Watching the Dow on a daily basis will lead to heavy drinking. It's not supposed to be looked at daily. Monthly is more than sufficient. Even quarterly.

We certainly will.... Our portfolio is down more than 20%. I know PDJT is doing the right thing for America with tariffs, etc., but selfishly, we’re getting old and losing that much $$ in just a couple of months is unsettling.

People are buying in large quantities on the dip, and then selling it on the uptick. just my theory.

My IRAs were down more in 2022. They went down after I retired in 2021. Now they are down from the highs in Dec 24 and Jan 25 but are way higher than in 2022.

I think there are entities trying to burn down the markets. US jobs and inflation numbers don’t justify the actions of the markets. The economy is actually good - but the markets don’t act like they see it.

Yep! Down about 1700 one day and up about 1200 the next! Down about 7 or 800 up about 4 or 500. The trend is still down for now.

Look WAY BACK to 2008. It was worse under 0bama. What steps did you take then? Maybe take them again if this is making you nuts? ;)
