WASHINGTON — Minutes before U.S. fighter jets took off to begin strikes against Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen last month, Army Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, who leads U.S. Central Command, used a secure U.S. government system to send detailed information about the operation to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
The material Kurilla sent included details about when U.S. fighters would take off and when they would hit their targets — details that could, if they fell into the wrong hands, put the pilots of those fighters in grave danger. But he was doing exactly what he was supposed to: providing Hegseth, his superior, with information he needed to know and using a system specifically designed to safely transmit sensitive and classified information.
But then Hegseth used his personal phone to send some of the same information Kurilla had given him to at least two group text chats on the Signal messaging app, three U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the exchanges told NBC News.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Take his phone away and hire him a confidential secretary.
sheesh
NBC is an unreliable biased source.
What was shared with First Lady Jill Biden when she chaired a Cabinet meeting?
I mean, either it happened or it didn't. I'm willing to take Hegseth's word over NBC's, but it's kind of tough when you don't get an actual denial.
Wife said his interview on FOX this morning was the same, no denial, just word salads. He's not inspiring confidence, needs to get his act together, like yesterday.
What is good for the goose, is good for the gander. If he did this. He needs to really eat some Crow Pie on NBC.
Find them. Fire them. Arrest them.
Who cares! Did anyone die? Did anyone on Biden’s admin get fired when 13 died in a bothched Afghan withdrawl? How about when the defense secretary went AWOL? This is a rehash with one add on group from a story from last month. Learnt a lesson and is now moving on. Amazing how many of the cretons blow up any future careers by crying on their way out the door.
Crap. The mission was a huge success. So now MSM makes it sound like a failure. Please idiots, don’t let MSM win. Ignore them.
Right. Everything Democrat officials do on a daily basis is grounds for impeachment/removal if a Republican does it. We know how DC plays this game.
Then, on the other hand, if he had a flat denial, would it make any difference at all to the MSM? No...they’d continue. At least this way, he keeps them yipping at him and causes them to keep going after the “shiny object” while he continues to purge and make the DOD great again.
Notice that NBC was very specific about what the General told Hegseth, but very vague about what, if anything, Hegseth told anyone else.
Also “three U.S. officials” is likely a euphemism for “three fired U.S. officials.”
Who cares about this BS. He learned his lesson. No harm, no foul, move on.
Obviously, they are.
If we don’t get a denial, Occam’s razor says it happened.
The more the corporate media and Democrats go after Hegseth, the more comfortable I am that he’s exactly what is needed at the DOD.
If Trump had full control of the NSA, it would be known if any US general(s) had communications with NBC.
This freaking guy can’t keep his yap shut.
The FOREVER WAR faction of the Deep State Swamp wants War War War .
They have already started purging the opposition via the “leaking” .
Trump wants peace and wants to do deals. The Forever War clubs chomps at the bit to continue the disastrous Project Ukraine and of course, they want a war with Iran.
One has to ask if either of these are in America’s interest or are they the pet projects of some 3rd party ?
