Is it possible that it’s just from the average age of pregnant women being much higher than before?

RFK Jr. has a good heart.
It’s his brain I worry about.
He’s a lawyer, not a scientist.

Isn’t “screen time” the problem?

The exponential rise in the incidence of autism and neurologically impaired infants began in the late 1960’s. This phenomena parallels the rate of increase in the use of illicit recreational drugs especially marijuana, and cocaine. Always speculated there is a link but obtaining verifiable data is not easy to obtain.

I suspect that's more of a cause of PTSD than autism.

The average age of mothers at birth hasn't gone up that much.

No. It shows up before screen time becomes an issue…that is unless it’s the mother’s screen time and not going outside in the sun.

Low vitamin D is correlated with ASD but it’s not the issue in the majority of cases.

With the Media censorship surrounding autism, I’m going with vaccines being at least partially causative. Big Pharma would go out of business if vaccine manufactures could be sued like other companies found harmful.

YES!!!

Under Obama, the healthcare system came under government control through various initiatives.

Today you have no more privacy and all your data is shared all while we talk about “privacy rights.”

Today the “standard of care” is in reality defined by the NIH, FDA, and DEA.

YOU, the person that is paying for it, who is affected by the decisions (your body and values), just like your doctor and his best medical advice, have little say in what actually is done.

You get flow charted, assembly line health care that has a civilian store front but with government being the top level decision maker on everything.

In fact, you sort of have the worst of both worlds!

You get hospitals and doctors, big pharma, insurance companies and medical equipment manufacturers gauging you, but the care you received amounts to socialized health care where a government bureaucrat or politician in reality decided who gets what. You get super expensive socialized health care

Do you realize that even in nations that have social health care, you usually have a parallel private health care market? BUT the way we do it with a standard of care, hospitals, doctors, and insurance is reluctant to side step the government flow charted care prescribed and when a President declared gender dysphoria as a medical condition needing coverage, so be it: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/health/obama-administration-plan-protects-transgender-communitys-right-healthcare

Why criticize RFK Jr. like that on a thread where all he is doing is ringing "the alarm on rising autism" and calling for an "examination of environmental factors"?

Him doing that seems like a reasonable thing to do.

If you subsidize something you get more of it. If you tax something you get less of it.

We subsidize autism. Federal research grants, welfare benefits, special treatment in schools, extra money for schools per autistic child, extra time on tests, etc. The “spectrum” is now very broad and there are huge incentives to get the diagnoses.

Autism is real. There are people and families who need help. But we are now well into autism scamming. It’s following the same trend as ADHD.

RFK Jr. was responsible for Arnold Schwarzenegger's Environmental Policy when he ran for Governor of California. I published an analysis of it here on FR. Beyond that, the whole thread developed even more. It forms a long list of crooked half-baked environmental lies.

They keep broadening the spectrum.

If your kid doesn't look you in the eye when you talk to him...he's got autism.

If a kid leaves the room because it's too noisy...he's got autism.

1 in 36 autistic is absurdly high. If it’s this bad were needed a national emergency declared years ago.
