Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and top diplomat Marco Rubio have met with their European and Ukrainian counterparts in Paris to discuss efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
The talks, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, formed the highest level of transatlantic engagement about the war since February.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged those at the meeting to put "pressure" on Russia to agree to a ceasefire, as "Russia uses every day and every night to kill".
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed the talks, claiming European leaders were focused on "continuing the war".

If Trump can pull off what he’s trying to do - to end liberal internationalism, to destroy the American Empire for the good of his people, to achieve global peace through balance of spheres of influence, and save the domestic economy, he will go down as a world-historical figure.
Remember always he and his handlers want WW3, not because of (insert reason here) but because they want most of humanity dead and their other efforts are failing. I don’t care if you believe or reason that Z or P is at fault to begin with because the people running their plan intend to use this to that end.
One of three things will end this:
- We continue/resume the endless flow of money and arms, and eventually people, into the war; and this becomes WW3. The end of *that* may or may not be what the globalists want but it will definitely be the end of what all sane people want.
- Z and his handlers are made to realize they won’t get the above result and surrender. IMO the likely result thereof is the Russian part of Ukr becomes Russian and some sort of detante-state runs the Western half.
- We neither allow this to escalate into WW3 nor do the globalists quit; in which case almost certainly Ukraine ceases to exist entirely. The EU states are making noise about their entry but that’s a speed bump on this path; all their stuff combined might delay the result by maybe 6 weeks.
Please hold your breath while you’re waiting for that Volod!
Why would Putin agree to a cease fire while endless negotiations proceed which would just allow Uke to rearm and reposition its troops. Ain’t gonna happen.

Lets end the war by recognizing Eastern Ukraine as a separate country aligned with Russia.
Peace and prosperity will ensue.
What Zelensky wants is American Troops on the ground in YouCraynee.
That’s what Zelensky means by “Pressure”.
