Israeli Intel Coup Against Netanyahu Exposed: “Shin Bet Has Turned into a Private Militia of the Deep State”
The Gateway Pundit ^ | Apr. 16, 2025 5:40 pm | Collin McMahon

The Israeli government is exposing a malicious Deep State plot by the domestic security forces to bring down the Netanyahu government, similar to the US Deep State campaign against Donald Trump 2016-2024. At the center of the plot is the head of the Shin Bet security service Ronen Bar, who refuses to leave his post after being fired by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Observers had been mystified by the massive security failures of the vaunted Israeli secret service on October 7, leading to antisemitic conspiracy theories claiming Israel actually was responsible for the horrific terror attacks taht killed over 1200 people. Now, with the recent revelations, it seems more likely the famed Shin Bet security service has been infiltrated by leftist anti-Netanyahu forces allied with the failed Biden Regime, which also funded the anti-Netanyahu protest movement and lawfare.

“The extreme behavior we are now seeing by Ronen Bar is the behavior of people who realize the castle walls have been breached,” security expert Moshe Ashkenazi told Danny Seaman on JNS. “They are now retreating and are fighting the last war for the remnants of this power they have gained, and are reluctant to relinquish.”

The latest blow-up began when Shin Bet head Ronen Bar had an agent arrested over the Passover weekend for allegedly for stealing classified material and leaking it to journalist Amit Segal and Diaspora Minister Amichai Chikli.

Channel 12 journalist Amit Segal published the leak, revealing that Ronen Bar was trying to frame Israeli police for alleged right-wing extremism, which Shin Bet whistleblowers have said are made-up allegations meant to attack conservative Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. Now, the Lod district court lifted a gag order on the criminal investigation Tuesday, which “critics called the latest abuse of power by its topmost officers against the government”, JNS wrote.

Prime Minister Netanyahu called the leak “another shocking and dangerous” occurrence under Shin Bet head Ronen Bar, who has “turned parts of the Shin Bet into a private militia of the deep state that undermines the rule of law and the foundations of democracy.”

Minister Amichai Chikli, who received the whistleblower’s leak and attended his hearing, called the officer a “hero.” Shin Bet director “Ronen Bar is the one who’s betrayed the public’s trust and is unhinged,” Chikli told reporters.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said: “The State of Israel is on a slippery and dangerous slope towards the loss of democracy and the dictatorial rule of a security and legal junta. We will not let this pass and return Israel to the people.”

Justice Minister Yariv Levin said, “The head of the Shin Bet acts as if he has a private intelligence organization that can conduct a political hunting campaign.” This is “not new,” he said, but “more and more brave people are coming out and revealing what is really happening here today and what has happened here in secret for many years.”

Writing in Israel Hayom, Journalist Shirit Avitan Cohen listed the many recent leaks to the media from the security services damaging the Netanyahu government, and the absence of criminal investigations around those leaks, while critics of Ronen Bar like Netanyahu staffer Eli Feldstein, who leaked details of Bar’s failures on Oct. 7 and now faces life in prison, and the anonymous Shin Bet whistleblower, are immediately and harshly punished.

“It looks like selective enforcement,” Cohen wrote.

The Natanyahu cabinet voted to remove Ronen Bar as head of the Shin Bet, but has been stymied by the Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and the High Court of Justice, which earlier this month suspended indefinitely the government’s decision to fire him.

Attorney General Baharav-Miara claims the government cannot fire Bar because it would undermine investigations into charges Qatar paid off members of the government and even the editor in chief of the Jerusalem Post.

Netanyahu claims the Qatar investigation is part of a coup by Shin Bet and Baharav-Miara to oust him from power.

Among Bar’s denfenders at the Supreme Court is the left-wing NGO Movement for Quality Government, which was at the center of the protest movement against Netanyahu that left Israel critcially distracted before the Oct. 7 genocide attempt. Journalist Caroline Glick has charged the Movement for Quality Government was funded by the Biden Regime, as The Gateway Pundit reported.

The only way to stop it is to overthrow their Supreme Court and that’s not going to happen. The court has abrogated to itself supreme power, including the power to choose their own successors

I have read in other articles the Israeli courts are a power unto themselves, perhaps like is now attempted by US district judges.

Just in: The Pentagon moved 6 B-2 stealth bombers to the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia in massive show of force to Houthis and Iran. Maybe Trump just wants to personally tell a disconsolate Netanyahu that the US has his back? Poor Bibi’s reelection plans look kinda wobbly after his recent disastrous WH visit.

Israel even says its gonna “attack Iran”——anything to help get poor Bibi out of the doldrums.

Mmmmm, just an-oth-er extremely astute, well-thought out Israeli political strategy:
<><>US taxpayers supply all of Israel’s economic and humanitarian, financing
<><>plus acres and acres and acres of armaments;
<><>and glory be.....lucky us get to be involved in all their wars
<><>in return we get all their enemies and assorted problems,
<><>as a bonus, future American generations get to inherit Israel’s enemies and their debts,
<><>while Israel gets to be a world leader.....unencumbered.

So brilliant.....could even catch on worldwide.

Face it, those Mideast guys haven’t been especially kind to the US or its presidents. The Washington foreign policy establishment has an ingrained belief in its own brilliance and a willingness to succumb to hubris about the extent of its power and influence.

The savvy Middle East has a tried and true formula to get USAID tax dollars.....uttering the word “peace” at regular intervals. “Peace” in the Middle East has been a pipe dream for about a thousand years........there’s a huge price tag on “peace,” with the US taxpayer gamely trying to meet the latest “peace price.”

Netanyahu to Trump: “Can you top this?”
<><>Biden blanketed Israel w/ $17.9 billion peace-keeping tax dollars in the 2024 election year alone, bragging, “Nobody has done more for Israeli peace than I have.”
<><>Rubio just gave Israel $4 billion tax dollars, over and above Israel’s annual US billions.

Besides peace-making weaponry, Israel also receives peace-keeping economic and humanitarian US tax dollars in USAID, which supports broad peaceful economic development and socio-political stability and can include peaceable non-military US support related to the country’s pressing peace needs.

Nice.

Israel announced its biggest trading partner is the European Union (EU), followed by China. China is a major trading partner for Israel, particularly in terms of imports. In 2023, China accounted for 17.7% of Israel’s imports, with total trade value reaching a whopping $24.45 billion.

Israel’s largest trading partner, the EU, accounts for a significant portion of its trade in goods. Other Notable trading partners for Israel include Turkey,
India, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Netherlands.

Israel’s main exports are:
<><>cut and uncut diamonds,
<><>pearls and other precious metals and stones (33% of total exports);
<><>electrical machinery and equipment,
<><>mechanical machinery and appliances,
<><>sound and TV recorders and reproducers
<><>computer equipment (22 percent)
<><>and chemical products (11 percent).

Israel listed its main export partners: United States 26.4% European Union 22.7% China 7.19% Palestinian territories 5.98% United Kingdom 4.13% India 3.99% Turkey 3.03% (2022)

Israel’s imports: $108.26 billion (2019 est)

China would have a lot more difficulty developing it’s military aerospace and weaponry capabilities without “Israeli technology” .....technology Israel gets from the US...... funded w/ US tax dollars which Israel sells to China. This tech transfer is being encouraged by the same clandestine American-China lobby selling out America to the Chinese for personal gain.

Israel got over $18 billion USAID tax dollars in 2024, the bulk of which is spent on expansion of the Israeli military and tech sectors and the very thing for which the billions were not intended-——increasing the selling of US-shared technology to China. Even worse is Israel’s use of USAID to transfer that technology to China under the guise of “trade.”

The absurdity is that Israel’s economic clout is based solely on the good will of American taxpayers, but when it comes to technology development to China, it advances Israel’s fantasy of being a world leader, despite imperiling the safety and security of American families.

The posts by Liz offer a lot of useful information. You can argue about the interpretation, but the facts are there.

so what on earth does posting about Israeli international trade have to do with the headline of the article.

I’ve noticed most of these “American Firsters” are incredibly ignorant about the situation here on the ground in Israel
(yes, that is where i live and typed this from)

Since Oct. 7 Netanyahu is in the process of destroying Hamas, has almost destroyed Hezbollah, and in so doing has removed the Iran-backed Assad regime and demonstrated that Israeli & US weaponry can penetrate Iran's air defenses at will.

The Iranian regime has been at war with the US since 1979, seizing diplomats, backing terrorist groups that have killed hundreds of Americans and US service personnel.

So Netanyahu has done more than all US administrations in 45 years to set back the mullahs in Teheran, and all you can do is make idiotic comments about how the US is being snookered by the Israelis.

Meanwhile, Trump looks weak for having backed down from his pledge to eliminate Iran's nuclear program, effectively snatching defeat from the jaws of a victory placed in his lap by the Israelis.

The US government's capacity under both parties to make an endless series of boneheaded moves like this one are why the US never has permanent success in the Mideast.

The US government being inveigled into over-compensating and over-arming Israel has led to a
US-dependent Israel and its relentless braggadocio about its activities to “create enemies” at will.

This the distinctive reason why the US will never be
seen as a reliable diplomatic partner in the Mideast.

The absurdity is that Israel’s vaunted economic clout is based solely on the good will of American taxpayers, but when it comes to selling US-shared military technology development to treacherous China, it advances Israel’s fantasy of being a world leader, despite imperiling the safety and security of American families.

The typical Adderall dosage starts at 10 mg once daily.

Your daily dose can be increased by 10 mg every week if needed.

actually her posts on Israel are full of misinformation...but if that misinformation is useful to you, then so be it.

i’ve read through her comments about Israel....she links to arab news sources as her backup......thats like using the NY Times to accurate info about Trump.......

the one good thing about Israel is that it helps expose what side of the good-evil fence one belongs to.
