Speculation about a serial killer in New England is gaining significant traction online – specifically stemming from discussions in a private Facebook group called “New England Serial Killer.”
Members of the Facebook group and social media users on other platforms like TikTok and X are pointing to several recent discoveries of human remains in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island between March and April.
Authorities across all three states have identified remains in New Haven, Groton, Killingly and Norwalk, Connecticut, as well as Framingham and Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Foster, Rhode Island.
Three sets of human remains have been identified.
New Haven police identified remains discovered on March 21 as Denise Leary, a formerly missing 59-year-old mother of two.
Norwalk police also identified the remains of 35-year-old Paige Fannon of West Islip, New York, on March 6.
Her remains were found in a swiftly moving Norwalk River after heavy rainfall the night before.
Rhode Island State Police identified remains found in a wooded area of Foster as 56-year-old Michele Romano, who had been missing since August 2024.
Their causes of death have not been released as of Tuesday.
“There is no information at this time suggesting any connection to similar remains discoveries, and there is also no known threat to the public at this time,” Connecticut State Police said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
CTSP further told police that troopers responded to Woodward Street in Killingly on April 9 regarding the discovery of possible human remains.
Police later confirmed the remains, which have yet to be identified, and said there is no known threat to the public.
“This investigation is in the early stages and remains active and ongoing,” CTSP said.

“On April 10, Massachusetts firefighters discovered remains in Framingham off the Massachusetts Turnpike, according to FOX 25 Boston.
Authorities have yet to identify the remains, which they believe were in the area for several months before they were discovered.
Jane Boroski, a survivor of the Connecticut River Valley killer and host of the podcast “Invisible Tears,” shared concerns and questions about a serial killer in New England with those on social media.
Boroski posted a video discussing the possibility on Monday.
Foster, Rhode Island, and Killingly, Connecticut, are the two towns closest in proximity.”

Brush fire near Massachusetts Turnpike leads to discovery of human remains, DA says
I grew up in the NE. I’m now familiar with this serial killer. It’s called “Family Court”. It prioritizes the destruction of families and ruining men’s lives for profit. An extra-judicial response was predictable.
After mentioning child support payments in a casual conversation I was even approached and offered to ‘have people fix that for you’. Totally unsolicited. Luckily my case is only 18 months from ending, but other ppl....?
With ‘the economy’ as it is I’m confident this ‘serial killer’ will continue.
The empty clubs and avoidance by men isn’t enough to make them realize men are through with their scamming. IMO they care more about money than their lives -as all hookers/dopamine addicts do. So the bodies will continue to show up from the ‘Family Court Serial Killer’
56 and 59 seem kind of old.
There are dozens of active serial killers in the US. Wut, Maine thinks they shouldn’t be talked about in their area?
It’s amazing how much work cops put into denying a serial killer. If they put half that much effort into acting like it is a serial killer they’d catch serial killers way quicker.

“56 and 59 seem kind of old.”
It makes perfect sense actually - Alimony.
“if you were together for more than 20 years, alimony may last for an indefinite period.”

Women cash in before the man retires to set alimony at the highest level.
Indentured servitude and free hold bondage were first outlawed in the 19th century. “Family Court” brought them back.

Seems like some "Family Court" judges should be the "victims" in some of these cases. That should surely stop some of the abuses.
Just so you know, Foster RI doesn’t have a police force. There is a state trooper who lives there who kind of keeps an eye on things. Foster is RI’ biggest town per land area. One of the jokes is that it’s a perfect place to hide a body. It is very nice place to live.
A town called Killingly? Pretty sure human remains most definitely will be found there.

Well, the purpose isn’t to FIND the serial killer, it’s to “comfort” the public. Because nothing makes the public feel safe like announcing that the authorities have no idea who is killing all these women or why.
I’ll take a HARD PASS on living anywhere near that place. RI, like every other New England state (I will throw in PA just for giggles) has gone down the rabbit hole of Communnism.
The only New England state that has not gone full commie is New Hampshire. Where I have resided for almost 40 years.
In that time NH has gone from the last Red state in NE to a purple state. Our state government has a GOP Governor, along with a majority in the Executive council, State Senate and State House of Reps. Yet, all of our Federal offices are held by Dems.
NH also is ranked as the fourth lowest overall tax burden in the country. Behind Alaska, SD, TN. We have no state income tax, no sales tax except rooms and meals and they just eliminated the interest and dividend tax for the 2025 fiscal year.
We have open carry. In fact ANYONE who is not a Felon can carry a firearm. You do not need a permit.
You do not need to wear a helmet when you ride a motorcycle.
Seat belts are only required for teenagers or younger.
You are NOT required to have auto insurance(which I actually disagree with).
My friend who is a state rep says they are going to vote on Right to Work this year and he believes it will pass. This is not a big union state.
Good, I have always been impressed with NH’s ability to stay ahead of the communization that has hit every other NorthEast state.
