Experts believe that Donald Trump's decision could lead to a global recession unless the "deals" he's so keen to make are arranged quickly, after the stock market went into freefall following him slapping tariffs on every country in the world

This exercise will be instructive to find out who China’s paid agents in the West are.
That’s fine. If China doesn’t blink, it loses.
We have some pain, but they collapse.
Magic “Mirror,” tell me today - whose the biggest media butt fkrs in the feckless UK?
China doesn’t have enough reserves to engage in a trade war with us..
They can’t fight sleep and sure as hell can’t fight us
Does the article offer any well-founded, logical arguments or is it only meaningless metaphor and innuendo?
They really think this is about the availability to buy goods. Bless their hearts.
No they can't...but that hasn't stopped people from picking fights with someone that can clearly mop the floor with them. With China, the concept of "saving face" is a big deal in their culture, so appearing weak is a fundamental problem.
Sucks to be you right now China.
All those other countries will be more than willing to take over China's trade with the USA.
Ok they can stare blankly into the horizon as their industries shut down and Americans stop buying their crap.
Marxists siding with the Chi coms, I’m shocked.
They’ll have to grow up and act like mature adults then
Consequences can lead to rational thought and deliver better outcomes
I’m happily ignoring these “paid media” press releases from the CCP. My question is: will China get so desperate for a “win” domestically that they decide “screw it” and invade Taiwan in 2025 to turn over the table. Long term it’s an act of suicide, but they do seem irrationally proud, and aggressive.
I can’t help but think China was baited into isolating itself.
$450 bil annual market down the drain.
While the US loses about $125bil annually, and likely to be made up by more favorable trade relationships elsewhere.
China’s only move is to begin dumping their product elsewhere, pissing off everybody.
I bought an ink tank printer yesterday.
It was made in the Philippines.
If you pick something up in Walmart not in the food aisles it may not say “Made in China”.
We can survive without most Chinese consumer stuff for years.
China will simply not be exporting as much in the future. That will be true even if all the members of Congress parade around with Chinese-made white flags.
Neighboring nations would like more factories and zero attempts at Chinese geographical expansion.
“experts”
ooooooooo. I’m so impressed. /S
Just heard a mention again of how the unlevel playing field allows the Chinese to demand intellectual property and data from any company doing business with them in China. Used to gain more unfair advantages and invade security of corporations.
The imperialist Chinese have to be brought down.
We are learning that so called “experts” in so many areas are not experts at all but are simply individuals with political leanings that try to push those positions by claiming to be experts.
