Republican candidates won both special House elections in Florida on Tuesday night, expanding the party’s slim majority in the lower chamber.
According to The New York Times, Republican Jimmy Patronis is projected to defeat Democrat Gay Valimont in the Sunshine State’s 1st Congressional District. Located in the Florida Panhandle, the district’s residents overwhelmingly supported President Donald Trump over former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
The seat was left open following the resignation of former Rep. Matt Gaetz, who stepped down after being nominated by Trump to serve as attorney general. Gaetz ultimately withdrew his nomination to the position after facing resistance from several GOP senators reportedly opposed to his confirmation.
The GOP is also projected to win the race for the House seat vacated by Mike Waltz, who resigned to serve as Trump’s national security advisor. With more than 95 percent of votes tabulated as of publication, Republican state Sen. Randy Fine is projected to defeat Democrat Josh Weil in the battle for Florida’s 6th Congressional District.
Fine’s seemingly lackluster candidacy and Weil’s significant fundraising advantage prompted reported concerns within conservative circles ahead of Tuesday’s race that the election in CD-6 could be closer than originally anticipated.
While preliminary results show Fine winning the seat by 14 points, the margin is significantly smaller than those put up by Trump and Waltz during the 2024 election. According to The Hill, the latter two Republicans won their respective races in the district by more than 30 points.
Fine was notably one of several Florida GOP lawmakers who fought efforts by Gov. Ron DeSantis to adopt laws assisting...

I wonder if this means the WI judge race was cheated.... I have to wonder if this means democrats with very little funds or methods to cheat on a large scale put all their eggs in this WI basket since they could only afford one race to cheat in
Margins don’t mean squat, it’s the special elections, Republicans steamroll them.
Pad that count.
Get over it
“Both Fine and Patronis will now join Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill and help expand the GOP’s slim House majority. Not including Tuesday’s Republican victories, the party’s House majority currently stands at 218-213, with two additional vacancies resulting from the deaths of two House Democrats last month.”
So, with Fine and Patronis, Republicans have a house majority of 220-213.
Republicans also control the senate 53-47.
My bet is there is a boatload of ballots with only the judge race filled out.
We expanded the majority yet the house doesn’t do squat or pass anything so what exactly is their purpose
So the people Wisconsin voted by a huge majority for voter ID. And yet we are to believe that they also voted for an even more corrupt state supreme court that will work against them.
Pull the other one. Wisconsin is set up for vote fraud. Voter ID won’t solve all the methods they just used to cheat. That state is not controlled by its citizens, but by the deep state.
It is frustrating.
Time is not on our side. Congress should be moving with a sense of urgency and turn president Trump’s Executive Orders into laws.
The senate Democrats would filibuster the bills but some would make it to the president and signed into law.
When Mitch McConnell was the senate leader, the Republican house would send the bills to the senate and McConnell would refuse to bring them to a vote.
It looked questionable.

No. We won Wisconsin in November by .04 percent. Democrats were very engaged. Republicans FINALLY got engaged this passed weekend but not enough.
That’s Pensacola. I don’t care how much more the Democrats spent, they were never going to win that seat. Kevin McCarthy and his allies spent a pile of cash trying to push a more Bushite RINO candidate against Matt Gaetz and got absolutely smoked by Gaetz a couple years ago. Having lived for a year in Pensacola, that area is very Trumpy.
It’s too bad we couldn’t stop Gyeorgy Soros’ fascist prostitute in Wisconsin but thems the breaks. It’s the people of Wisconsin who screwed themselves, again. Low I.Q. fools.
The lesson we need to learn from Wisconsin is that we need to show up for every election, not just every two years and then only if we think our candidate can win.
Teachers Union get out the vote in off elections .
Thats how all local taxes get rammed thru .
FL teachers unions were out in full force with 9 m but both districts were 20+ gop by designed but the union reduce their losses in half .
Teachers unions are the real evil .
WI has Madison and students who are brain dead leftists . WI close to being gone.
Much like election night 2024, wonder if pundits were talking about long lines at college campuses again😂
Lots of “news” outlets spent much time talking about a state election in PA, that saw a dim win which they “unbiasedly” claimed proof that voters had turned on President Trump.
If they spend 5 seconds on these elections , and voter ID I will be surprised, but will crow loudly about judges election😎😂.
I’m one of the first to claim cheating, but I don’t think WI was claimed by cheating. Was there cheating in WI? Absolutely. Was it the dominant factor. Nope.
Maybe the two FL wins will add one vertebrate to the collective Republican spine?
