Israel announced Tuesday that it would end all tariffs, or customs duties, on U.S. imports — just one day before President Donald Trump was set to announce reciprocal tariffs in a Rose Garden ceremony dubbed “Liberation Day.”
A joint statement by the Prime Minister’s Office, Finance Ministry and Economy and Industry Ministry said:
At the directive of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Economy and Industry Minister Nir Barkat, Israel has cancelled all of the customs duties that have been levied until now on products from the US, Israel’s largest trading partner.
After the approval of the Knesset Finance Committee and the Economy and Industry Minister’s signature on the order, the amendment to the order regarding trade levies and protective measure will take effect and customs duties on all imports from the US will be cancelled.

Israel has a deep state that taxes breathing.
Seriously, there is a tax on everything.
The one difference is Israel doesn’t single out the USA for disfavored treatment. It’s treated the same as everyone, inside and out.
Ironically, this will probably make USA goods cheaper than anyone’s goods in Israel.

The few civilians who want to purchase uncommon ammunition that's not produced domestically don't purchase enough to be worth the effort of hammering out tariffs.

Only Israeli tariffs on US products are on some agricultural/food products. Israelis are very highly taxed every which way, and Israel’s ag probably doesn’t need protection any more.
I doubt it. Israel is capable of loading small arms ammo.

Most affected likely to be grocery chain Osher Ad which has a lot of American food products such as from Costco.

Canada is thinking about it but their tarriffs on USA live monkeys, church bells and manatee meat is stopping the deal.
I provided oil and gas related services and products related to offshore oil and gas production in Israel, mainly so I could get free trips to Israel.
