What happens when we find out that much of what we believed or assumed is completely wrong?
One of the greatest accomplishments in entertainment history remains Orson Welles War of the Worlds. His 1938 production was so skillful, so brilliantly produced that hundreds if not thousands of people believed that Earth had been invaded by Martians and ran from their homes in terror. Welles had to reassure listeners that the radio broadcast was only a program and that there was no fighting between the aliens and US army forces. How did those who drove out of New Jersey in panic feel when they were finally convinced that the whole thing was simply a well-crafted drama?
Many of the major events in the world are being rewritten in history today. Through the actions of (primarily) Donald Trump, Elon Musk and Mike Benz, we have a completely different view of recent events. Elon Musk’s purchase of X and abandonment of censorship combined with Donald Trump’s no-holds-barred approach to his second term combined with Benz’s encyclopedic knowledge of the working of the government has left us realizing that we have been played by our leaders and self-appointed betters.
A few examples.
– Covid. The official Covid story was that a bat-associated virus somehow was transferred to humans via pangolins or the like at a wet market in the Chinese city of Wuhan. Anyone who strayed from this story might find himself attacked by both the press and Official Science and even be ostracized by the university where he worked. We were also told—conveniently the day after the 2020 election--that the Pfizer and later Moderna mRNA vaccines were a grand slam. They showed over 95% effectiveness: if you took the shot (and a couple more to boot), you were on the off-ramp for the pandemic. We were told at one point that those ill represented a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”.
The reality we know today is quite different. As Mike Benz shows, Dr. Fauci’s lab in Montana contributed the key feature of the virus that allowed for its devastating effects. The pangolins should lawyer up and sue all of those in the West who blamed them for the pandemic. The virus was natural in source but was souped-up in the US and China and then got out. The idea—also supported by Chinese patent applications—was to create the virus in order to prepare vaccines to counter it. Well, the virus got out and the world still has not recovered. There are still people with masks; lots of students never got back into their studies; beloved stores and restaurants are gone; millions died and millions more suffered; we now have one more version of the flu from now to eternity. As to the vaccines, I think that any serious scientist would be hard-pressed to provide unequivocal data showing that they protected and did no harm. Many people were badly affected by the mRNA experimental drugs, from serious illness to death. Excess deaths in Europe after the pandemic were considered as a possible outcome of the vaccines. Apparent increases in cancer rates in children have also been suggested to be a result of multiple vaccine shots to children who showed the least effects from the original virus and its series of mutations. What we were told was a lie: at one point, most of those sick and dying were vaccinated. What we know now has no connection to what we were sold by our politicians and governmental officials who couldn’t find a mistake that they would not make.
– Political Events. Nobody brings receipts like Mike Benz. If he claims something, he has the evidence to back up his claims. The political “revolutions” in Ukraine, Brazil, and other countries were not natural events. USAID, the State Department, and the CIA worked to evict leaders and governments that they did not like. Victoria Nuland is on record stating that she spent $5 billion to remove Victor Yanukovich from power in Kiev. There was nothing organic or local about the events. USAID and its co-conspirators organized protesters, media and other forces to cause a revolution that was considered favorable to the US. There was nothing new in the CIA causing regime change, from Iran to South America. What was different was that the goal was not necessarily installing someone more favorable to the US but rather a government that fit better with the world order that people like Nuland and her then-boss John Kerry aspired to set up with their friends at the World Economic Forum (WEF). USAID flexed its muscle in Brazil to train judges how to shut down X and make sure that Jair Bolsonaro would never return to power. We thought that USAID and other governmental bodies were working to advance US interests. They were instead advancing lefty goals, even if they went against the will of the locals and the broader interests of the United States. USAID sent money to Gaza during the present war and did not mind dropping money to help unseat Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu during various elections in the past.
– How Government Works. The efforts of DOGE and Benz—with the express support and encouragement of Donald Trump—have shown that we know nothing about how our government works. Untold billions—or trillions—were sent to hundreds of NGOs whose interests and purposes were not necessarily aligned with those of the American people. Stacey Abrams, noted election denier from Georgia, is one of the most infamous participants in such antics. Her NGO received $2 billion ostensibly to help people purchase more energy efficient appliances. How many people did they help? How much of that money did they keep for themselves? We know of the $42 billion spent to hook rural Americans up to the internet, with not one home being connected. We also know of the $7 billion spent for EV charging stations, with a whopping 7 charging stations being the final product. $16 billion for the fast train in California and not one foot of track laid. The visceral hatred of Musk is understood when we see that billions of dollars have been flowing to people for their benefit and not ours. He is derailing the biggest gravy train in history, and these people are not taking the end of their free ride very well. Everybody was in on the money-go-round except for the tax-paying American citizen. There is now an investigation of six Israeli NGOs to determine if they used USAID funds for anti-Bibi protests. They need to provide full accounting of monies received by April 9th.
In the end, we’ve all been played for suckers. Those in Washington and their dependents have self-enriched and damaged the world, without a thought for the American people who either pay their salaries or for whom their activities are supposed to serve. I don’t expect Tony Fauci to lose a second of sleep over the millions who died because of the virus roulette he played with the Bat Lady. I won’t believe any further “popular uprisings” when in reality they are simply vested interests whipping up media, students, unions and other useful idiots—like the Tesla attackers. We have been lied to and deceived. We have been played for fools.
