A reporter wearing an anti-germ face mask around the White House became a victim of President Donald Trump’s trolling in the Oval Office on Wednesday.
Video from inside the Oval Office doesn’t indicate which member of the White House press corps showed up to work on Wednesday with a medical mask, one of the most unforgettable and dystopian signs of the pandemic. Earlier this month the world passed its five-year mark since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, but after all that time, including four years of FDA-approved vaccines and other homeopathic therapies, some masked-up members of the public have become too comfortable with their routine.
One of those unfortunate few had the displeasure of being called out by President Donald Trump after she attempted to ask him a question.
“You know, I haven’t seen a mask in so long. You’re wearing a mask!” Trump said, leaning in for effect. “That’s so nice of you.”
“I haven’t seen anybody wearing a mask in a long time, that’s good. You feel more comfortable, right? That’s good, that’s good.”
The clip, shared by an official account of the White House, was clearly intended to punish mainstream media members who have relentlessly focused on the leaked Signal chat and subsequent fallout. MAGA fans got a kick out of the president’s sense of humor.
“You know everything about that reporter’s political leanings from that mask,” one observed.
Another laughed, “Trumps trolling game is subtle and on point.”
“Cordiality with an undertone of sarcasm — not too much,” a third agreed. “He is not only the greatest POTUS ever, he’s also the grand master of trolling!”
President Trump’s afternoon appearance was a chance to pivot the administration away from damage control and back to its message of tariffs. The president announced plans to enact a 25% surcharge at the start of April on all vehicle manufacturers and assembled outside the U.S., a policy that predictably sent media outlets into another round of outcry about potential economic calamity.
There were other lighthearted moments during the impromptu press conference, as well. When Kaitlan Collins, still recovering from being shut down hours earlier by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, attempted to ask President Trump a question, he gave her an elementary school-style reminder to wait her turn.
“Excuse me, I didn’t call on you,” Trump said after the CNN reporter managed to get three-quarters of her question out.
I love how he messes with them. He loves doing it. Lol
Long before the Plandemic, I would definitely notice someone with a mask. The image that sticks is a person in line at a pharmacy. Many pharmacies are in hospitals and clinics, where all the sick people go. If I had a comprised immune system, I would have also worn a mask.
That said, to this day I still see someone with a mask,,, riding a bicycle. Also, I see someone with a mask, alone, driving a convertible with the top down. Crazy.
A mask against viruses is about as effective as a chain-link fence is against mosquitos!
There are enough Chinese women here that it wasn’t a rare sight in flu season before the Plandemic.
..just sayin...
Some people are addicted to maskerbation.
Maybe the reporter is trying to protect others from some nasty disease they have.
Like Monkey Pox.
Good point.
What a scream!
This is pretty hilarious.
I Wear My Face Mask in the Car
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DDXG-dHugc
To the tune of I Wear My Sunglasses at Night, an early New Wave minor hit. Almost a million views despite being suppressed and shadow banned by YouTube. Should have been 6 million views. On point. Was out early in Covid, perfect.
Working at a hospital after one week I decided it was a hoax and it amazed me. There was this mass formation psychosis that affected peoples behaviors. They were using alcohol wipes on the bottoms of their shoes with rubber gloves. Wearing a mask and a face shield driving around in their car. Pure virtue signalling. People dying from pneumonia because they’re wearing cloth masks all day long. Then the doctors treat them for covid instead of pneumonia because the government gave them money to increase the statistic. Yeah sure right, millions died from covid, yeah right. There were used paper masks blowing across the lawn, cloth masks discarded in the public trash cans. I thought, if this were a real pandemic we’d all be dead. And since this is just an exercise i’d appreciate you stop gaslighting me about it. And I was hated for saying so.
” but after all that time, including four years of FDA-approved vaccines and other homeopathic therapies”
That is too funny, lumping the vaccine in with homeopathic medicine.
+1
