Jeffrey Goldberg, the rabidly anti-Trump hack masquerading as a journalist at The Atlantic, has once again exposed himself as a shameless peddler of lies and hoaxes.
In a pathetic attempt to smear Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Goldberg doubled down on his latest fairy tale about a Signal group chat where Trump officials allegedly spilled classified war plans against Houthi terrorists. The full transcript of this conversation has now been made public.
The Gateway Pundit lays bare how this disgraced clown accidentally let slip a damning admission: there were no “war plans.”
He hyped it up as “war plans” to milk maximum media attention, but the White House and Team Trump fired back, exposing it for the sham it was.

As shown in the screenshot, Goldberg is identified by the initials "JG."

Full Signal text chain has been released.
There's nothing in it but the pros and cons of striking now vs waiting a month.
It's not war plans. It's not classified info.
It's a conversation, and nice to see cabinet members and staffers hashing out the best way to move forward.… pic.twitter.com/OTNYgHr3VP

"It’s very clear Goldberg oversold what he had. But one thing in particular really stands out. Remember when he was attacking Ratcliffe for blowing the cover for a CIA agent? Turns out Ratcliffe was simply naming his chief of staff," Vice President JD Vance wrote on X.

National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, the man who allegedly invited Goldberg to the group chat, responded: "No locations. No sources & methods. NO WAR PLANS. Foreign partners had already been notified that strikes were imminent. BOTTOM LINE: President Trump is protecting America and our interests."

If we got together and nicely asked Goldberg to sit down and shut up forever, would he do it?
Didn’t think so.
This is like the pee pee Trump file.
Goldberg’s boyfriend is so proud. He love him long time tonight.
'Course, now I'm going to have it FReepsplained to me how Presidents are NEVER included on conversations concerning war things.
Next time, just to be safe, they should use The Cone Of Silence.
And the nuclear secrets, the rapes, the “fraudulent accounting”, etc., etc.
Never buy your bombshells from ACME.
Send the IRS to see who is FUNDING this creep.
Nothing burger.
It’s being used as a hit job on Waltz from the DC isolationist wing.
Trump acts like a CEO - he gives direction, expects his subordinates to figure out how best to make it work, then follows up.
I think using the signal app was a mistake. I know that including teh reporter was wrong - whether deliberate or mistakenly.
But if they were not making decisions on timing or targets, then this is not an example of anyone usurping power.
Just my $.02
IIRC: Trump gets a face to face briefing every morning.
The reporter also had a duty to extricate himself....he knew he shouldn’t be there...but Goldberg lapped it up....Comey comes to mind.
Jeffrey Goldberg hunger for fame dies in flames he’s now Mr. Hillary.
The puzzling part is that Waltz thought Goldberg was somebody else but he won’t say who that somebody else is. Can you imagine if you were that somebody else and you found out about this confab only after Goldberg blabbed about it?
Kash needs to have a couple of FBI agents go over there and question Goldberg 1) who gave you access and did anyone approve of you having access? 2) why didn’t you remove yourself from the channel or at least notify someone? 3) why did you publish this right before a senate hearing and not before? 4) Who else did you tell about this access?
Put him in the same perjury trap they used against Trump. If he lies or was found to have broken the law, put him in jail.
If this text thread discussed classified information and Goldberg released the whole discussion, isn’t he guilty of a crime?
He should, but, knowing Kash, it won't happen.
Exactly. And he knew who included him, whether accidently or on purpose, in the chat. Goldberg needs to name that person or his inclusion and info obtained should be considered as be8ng obtained unlawfully.
