Candice C. Wong clerked for Justice Sotomayor, began as a U.S. Attorney in 2015 under the Obama regime, was nominated to the U.S. Sentencing Commission in 2023 by Biden, and prosecuted J6ers.

Alex worked at Covington & Burling, a firm Trump stripped of security clearances on February 25, 2025, for "Weaponizing Government."

Were these two involved in the Signal Chat group setup with journalist Jeffrey Goldberg?

I agree. I said to my husband, if Goldberg had ANY INTEGRITY, he would either have dropped out of the chat and told the others of the error, or have NOT SAID anything about it in public.

Goldberg had to sign on...and he knew he shouldn’t be there. He had no business staying there. How did he even get on the lest?? <PSorry....this was espionage...I’d grab Goldberg’s computer and emails and any other trail attached to this fiasco.

If Alex Wong is the guy who added Jeffrey Goldberg to the chat:

1) He either added him manually and deliberately or

2) He added him inadvertently, which could only plausibly be done if Wong had Jeffrey Goldberg in his contact list.

Neither explanation looks good for Wong. There is no good reason for any high-ranking official in Trump's administration to have Jeffrey Goldberg's number in their contact list unless they are regularly leaking to him.

Wong needs to be fired if it's established that Goldberg was added to the chat through him. He also needs to be investigated for possibility (1), which would probably be a criminal act.
