President Donald Trump is standing by his national security adviser, Mike Waltz, after a news report on Monday that senior White House officials included a journalist in a detailed discussion surrounding military air strikes on the Houthis in Yemen earlier this month over Signal, a nongovernment encrypted messaging app.

Bad story. Maybe it’s not a good idea to add a member of the corrupt media to high level discussions.
I am beginning to think that this was an op by the deep state — a hack to discredit Trump’s Cabinet.
looks like the adults are in charge...and AMERICA is being put first.
I think it was the opposite.
One has to wonder. Was it a deep state hack? Why would any one on Trump's team have the Atlantic on their phone list? Writing a book? A leaker? Or were they played by the Deep State.
Lots of questions to be answered.
Thanks for your post.
Wondering if they meant to include someone else but got caught by auto-finish when entering a person and didn’t notice. I think that’s common with email and texting.
“Why would any one on Trump’s team have the Atlantic on their phone list?”
Exactly. Someone hacked in.
The sooner we get answers the better. The media won't let this go, expect 24/7 hype until the administration addresses this head on.
I find it hard to believe that this “App” is actually used. I would have thought that this tech-savvy WH would have an AI faking these conversations with reporters in the loop 24/7.
The ‘Rats appear to have much more secure communications.
The Democrats, encouraged by the biased reporting of Jeff Goldberg, are seeking to build this into some kind of scandal which will be used to build a case that Team Trump is actively sabotaging its own strategy. Not that much was revealed, if anything, it serves as a sort of misdirection for those who managed to get through the encryption. It sure fooled Jeff Goldberg.
There is much that doesn’t pass the smell test with this.
Whatever the real truth, you can bet every single communication will be triple-checked from here on out.
Lesson learned. Move on.
Make public all the emails and texts you are mistakenly sent.

When I saw who was in the chat, I categorized it into those I was sure that would be loyal to Trump and those I had doubts about.
I would rate the descending order of loyalty as Wiles, Miller, Hegseth, Gabbard, as solid Trump loyalists then "reformed" Never Trumpers Vance and Rubio and Bessent (Soros ties) and lastly the GOPer's Waltz(Cheney advisor) and Ratcliffe who is head of the CIA which ALWAYS suspect.
It looks like Waltz is who Trump has called out for being responsible, but I don't trust Bessent or Ratcliffe either.
Trump has done a much better job of picking outside the Republican wing of the uniparty, but who knew that Little Beauregard Session's would be more loyal to the swamp than Trump.
I never paid much attention to the Bessent appointment at treasury because it was not going to be a close vote as so many were.
I did a little research and now understand why it wasn't close.
Bessent worked for Soros and he belonged to a secret society at the SAME university which gave degrees to the Boy Georges named Bush, the Clintons, Frenchy Kerry, and whole lot of other folk including JD Vance.
I never knew this secret society existed until today.
Very, very elitist.
Wolf's Head Society is a senior secret society at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. The society is one of the "Big Three" societies at Yale, along with Skull and Bones and Scroll and Key. Active undergraduate membership is elected annually with sixteen Yale University students, typically rising seniors. Honorary members are elected.
