Don’t underestimate her
I much look forward to the day in 4 years when she is The First Lady of President Vance.
And.. This trip gives her experience...
I’ll take her over our former second “gentleman “. What a dufus.
Greenland Prime Minister Mute Egg is already complaining, because, before Mrs. Vance and son visit on Thursday, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz will be visiting too.
“This can no longer be characterized as a harmless visit by a politician’s wife!”

Let’s try this...
The average Greenlander’s yearly income is about $57,000.
We waste hundreds of billions of dollars on government waste and fraud ( see DOGE ).
Let’s say, in exchange for acquiring Greenland, we offer each of the 55,000 Greenlanders $1 Million. That would be $4 million for a family of 4.
That would amount to about $55 Billion. Heck, that’s the entire budget of USAID.
For perspective, Elon Musk acquired Twitter for $44 Billion.
There’s a precedent. The United States purchased the Virgin Islands from Denmark in 1917 for $25 million in gold. The primary motivation was strategic: the U.S. wanted to secure its interests in the Caribbean and ensure stability during World War I. The islands were seen as valuable for protecting shipping routes and preventing other powers, like Germany, from gaining a foothold in the region.
For perspective, The $25 million in gold from 1917 would be worth approximately $616 million in today’s money when adjusted for inflation. In 1917, the U.S. GDP was approximately $60 billion.
In exchange, let the Danes have the island of Puerto Rico and all of its inhabitants, who firmly believe from birth they are gods and goddesses, and are an absolute GIFT to the American people. Spit.
well, Greenland better have a large cache of previously undiscovered vibraniums.
It is unheard of for there to have been such a thing as Trump 45 and then 47, with another Presidency stuck in between. That makes Trump just like a new President all over again.
The Constitution needs to be amended to address this rare term-of-office conflict, as it currently does not do so.
I’d guess she was told this was purely an easy, fun diplomatic trip and had no idea this would become a big news story. Oh well, she’s married to a guy who is planning a presidential run so she’d better get used to it.
Usha is a brilliant lawyer. clerked for Supreme Court Justice Roberts.
Plus she is charming and likable. Who better to start negotiations?
Guarantee the Danes 20 years of zero tariffs in the US market. And offer each citizen of Greenland - only about enough people of fill an NFL stadium - $1 million each. That’s every man, woman and child. The alternative is peaceful but non-negotiable annexation. I’d bet they’d take the offer.

I love our Second Lady. She has the most beautiful smile.u
Yes, we purchased the US Virgin islands and for years the British Virgin Islands were much safer and better. They’re both pretty bad right now but BVI is still preferable.
