Iceland’s minister for children has abruptly resigned after shockingly admitting she had a baby more than 30 years ago with a 16-year-old boy — who ended up coughing up child support.

My question is, the 16yo was a rape victim and yet he was forced to pay child support for 18 years? Did they garnish his paper route money?

My question is, the 16yo was a rape victim and yet he was forced to pay child support for 18 years? 16 is above the age of consent in Iceland. Your local laws aren't universal.

In all fairness here, we’d need a picture of her when she was 22. That’s when the crime was committed. I mostly imagine a 22yo church councilor in Iceland as very guilty.

Hummmm-mmm.....How about Macrons wife? He was her student..... he was a minor at the time. His parents warned his teacher, 39, to end affair with their then 16-year-old son - but the married mother of three refused.

“16 is above the age of consent” I’m no lawyer but I can read the next sentence of the article.. Which clearly states “unless you are a teacher or counselor of the minor”.
