Two Fort Lauderdale students were arrested after they allegedly attacked a teacher at their school in Fort Lauderdale.
Jayvis McClover and Rodrick McQueen, both students at Dillard High School, made verbal threats to a teacher and then “intentionally launched a synchronized physical attack” on him, police said. They are 19 years old.
Both men were arrested on Thursday and charged with battery on a public or private education employee.
The teacher reportedly dropped to the ground as McClover and McQueen punched him in the face and head. He suffered swelling and bruising and reported back pain after the attack.

The usual suspects.
That wasn’t very nice.
just think what they were doing to the 14 year olds in their classes
more black crime. It’s just their culture, so nothing to worry about
19 year old freshman?! Was this the Jethro Bodine High School?
all cultures are equal, as we all know
That girl interviewed at the end of the video seemed quite giddy about the attack.
At 19 you should be thrown out of school and forced to work or starve unless some medical reason exists fot being delayed in school.
Always seems to be the case these days.
There seems to be an inappropriate element of glee in the interviewees responses... They find violence entertaining, apparently.
“Teens”
Good thing this was in Florida.
In California, they might - or might not - be suspended - and then forced to appear before a student-lead “reconciliation committee” and asked why they did what they did (IOW, how did the teacher provoke them?).
After that, back to class.
Yep. Don’t need to look...again.
.....”They find violence entertaining, apparently”......
OK - sign students up for required military service and let them be entertained!
Retired urban public high school teacher here. These attacks happen way more than is reported.
School districts are desperate not to stop the attacks, but to keep them out of the news. So administrators use a carrot-and-stick approach towards the staff victim.
Don’t push the issue, and take a month paid time off. We won’t count it against your sick day total.
Report the issue, and we will hold it against you for the rest of your career.
Here’s an example of the latter. A friend of mine was a vice-principal. He was admonishing a student when the student suddenly pulled a knife and nicked my friend. Then the student ran out of the building.
My friend immediately called 911. That was a big no-no, as you’re not supposed to call 911 without permission. (!) End result? My friend was told that he’ll never get another promotion.
Our friend a White nurse relocated to south Florida to start a new job as the nurse in a high school. 1st day on the job she quit and walked out at Noon. She quickly realized her life was in danger.
When I was in high school if you turned 19 you were out. No ifs ands or buts. You were too old to attend high school and could seek other options that were available. I knew someone it happened to.
I’m not sure whose side to take here...the thugs, and the America-hating teacher.
(just kidding, kind of)
“ My friend was told that he’ll never get another promotion.”
File a lawsuit.
