The fraud, waste, abuse and massive inefficiency across the federal and state governments is stunning.

It's only because of the greatness of prior generations that his country is even able to hang on by whatever thread there currently is.

For a few trillion dollars, this tragedy could have been prevented.

A quick look indicates these are all nearly 100% black (or certainly minority) schools

Keep pulling the lever for “D” fools.

Wait, isn’t that why we have a Department of Education?! What’s going on here?

I have a copy of the "Fourth Grade Reader", from 1910.

The book today is college level reading.

One of the schools is called “Excel Academy”.

You cannot make up this stuff.

I spent quite a few years teaching in urban public schools. And I’m not a bit surprised by that report. Yes, a waste of resources is a big part of the problem. But there are two even greater problems.

1. Attendance. The truancy laws are no longer enforced. And in some states the truancy laws are no longer even on the books. So many students come to school only when they feel like it.

In my 9th grade basic math class, the average student attended only two or three days out of the week. No way can someone master a subject when they are missing half the instruction.

And yes, I called home and sent out letters. Didn’t help at all.

2. Disruption. Disruptive students are no longer removed from the classroom. That would negatively impact the school’s suspension data. Can’t have that!

And all it takes is one disruptive student to completely derail a lesson.

I don’t know about rural or suburban public schools. But urban public schools are absolutely beyond saving. Yet many decent kids still go there. Their best hope is transferring to a good charter school.

Keep pulling the lever for “D” fools.

Far be it from me to suggest that the Ds want blacks to be ignorant and dependent on government.

I had tried telling my (black): family members that the Democrat Party is not operating for their benefit, but I’m still viewed as Crazy and Confused. I no longer try helping them to wake up and walk away from the plantation.
We’ll talk about the weather and nostalgia from 40 years ago. Being a Dem, even if just in name only, has become their religion. They don’t want to look any deeper than the superficial image. C’est la vie.

Generating dependent people who will vote for D-handouts forever. It is a strategy.

It’s because of a certain demographic that society has bent over backwards to try to help and it’s horribly backfired.
