A federal judge on Thursday barred DOGE from accessing social security systems.
US District Judge Ellen Hollander, an Obama appointee, said DOGE’s workers are on a “fishing expedition.”
“The DOGE Team is essentially engaged in a fishing expedition at SSA, in search of a fraud epidemic, based on little more than suspicion. It has launched a search for the proverbial needle in the haystack, without any concrete knowledge that the needle is actually in the haystack,” Judge Hollander wrote.
Far-left organizations like AFL-CIO, the American Federation of Teachers and other plaintiffs sued the Social Security Administration, Elon Musk, DOGE and other Trump advisors.

In a related story, Federal District Judge Bass Ackwards has just ordered that DOGE employees must personally visit any current Social Security recipient whose address is in or near a cemetery. If the information on the headstone does not match the SS account information (age, DOB, etc) then the monthly SS payment must continue until the discrepancy can be rectified.

Being in business for 40 years I was subjected to many audits from numerous agencies. They never found anything wrong but they still had the authority to dig through everything.

DOGE should cancel all the accounts past the 120 mark and make the recipients or their guardians reapply in person to be reinstated, right off the bat. Starting tomorrow.

In BP P.L.C. v. Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, a June 2019 ruling, Hollander ruled for the city of Baltimore that they could receive damages for climate liability in the city.
The 4th circuit affirmed Hollander's ruling, but the U.S. Supreme Court, in over-turning Hollander's ruling, found that more factors had to be considered.
However, Sara Gross, a lawyer for Baltimore, noted that “Judge Hollander has already rejected every single one of the fossil fuel defendants’ arguments, as have federal district court judges in ten other climate damage and deception cases around the country".

Also, "judge" Ellen Hollander waited until she was 73 until she took senior status.
Normally, federal judges take senior status at 70 - but that would have been 2019, and President Trump would have been able to replace her.
Hollander DEFINITELY took one for Team Commie by working those extra three years...
That seems like a reasonable suggestion, although I think nearly all of the stolen SS numbers are from much younger deceased people.

There is no universe in which this judge has jurisdiction over an executive department. And Trump and his staff need to start acting like it.
This decision falls into the “silly, senile” category.
