Quarter-Million Russian Dead in Ukraine War so Far, Says London
Breitbart ^ | 03/20/2025 | Oliver JJ Lane

The invasion of Ukraine is the deadliest conflict for Russia since the Second World War, the British government says, as it places the “likely” death toll for Russian Federation forces at a quarter of a million so far.

Russia is “likely” to have taken 900,000 casualties in all since it renewed its invasion of Ukraine in 2022, and between 200,000 and 250,000 of those are fatalities, an intelligence digest from Britain’s Ministry of Defence has said.

The review of Russia’s combat casualties so far come as U.S. President Donald Trump places clear emphasises on ending what he calls the “killing fields” of the Ukraine War, taking what he cited as “two thousands” lives a week. Analysing the Kremlin’s position, the UK digest noted Putin and the Russian military leadership appears to have a deep appetite for death of their own troops “as this does not negatively affect public or elite support for the war”.

Not to mention Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron but it doesn’t surprise me much.

Perfidious Albion.... look it up.

The Brits also say Trump is a Russian spy, that global warming is killing the planet, that Ireland starved because the crop failed, that Covid came from bats and the shot was safe and effective.

London is full of BS.

Maybe these numbers are accurate or maybe they aren’t. I don’t know.

But I do know this, body counts in every war are always exaggerated.

So horrific. How many Ukrainians died or injured?
Russia is lame. Ukraine is lame.
People egging on this war are lame.
It needs to end.

Zelensky’s gets his Ukrainian casualty numbers from the same media sources that total up the estimates for the illegal aliens in the us .

The Ukrainian casualty number of 45,000 has been essentially unchanged since the first year of the war.

It never seems to change even after three years of brutal war, just like our media propaganda number of a perpetual, unchanging 12 million illegal aliens in the us despite millions of people coming in each year.

They lost 20 million in WWII or as they call it the great patriotic war. A lot of those were civilians and also self inflicted.

¼ million dead (that is military dead), and nearly ¾ of a million wounded. None of Putin’s claimed reasons for this war are worth those kinds of casualties.

And sadly, Ukrainian losses are equally horrific, even if slightly lower in total bodies - but they have less meat to feed the grinder to begin with. Plausibly between 100,000-150k dead and a total casualty count likely around half a million.

And I lay the bulk of blame on Joe Biden and his ghost/puppet administration and the deep state using Ukraine as a puppet/proxy, all feeding the military industrial complex.

I won’t believe it until MSNBC shows a daily running tally.

But Z man wants to keep it going..

I keep seeing comments like this, but Zelensky agreed to a comprehensive 30 day peace agreement. Russia is the one who didn't.

On the one hand pro-Russia posters say that Ukraine doesn't want peace. On the other hand, these same posters don't want a peace agreement, because they like it that Russia is making advances in the battlefield.

Either some folks need to get their stories straight, or they are merely throwing things against the wall, hoping that it will stick (or that people will believe the lies).

Yep - and this is demonstrated both in how they use their own soldiers as literal hamburger meat - they will send thousands into the same exact trails and paths that have killed thousands before - hoping to gain inches of land by throwing more bodies at it. Its as if their strategy is to use up their opponent’s ammunition...

The other demonstration of the Russian cheap view of life is their WW2-era bombing strategy - look at how many villages, towns, and even cities that have been functionally reduced to absolute rubble. They park artillery and just hammer the town until their is nothing left, then move in. In the process, they often target civilians first as a terrorist strategy. But what have they really gained? A war-destroyed wasteland. Those supposed “Russian-speaking and leaning” communties - that Russia bombed to dust... yeah, it was about protecting Russian-loving people, right? BS.

And the stories of Ukrainian children kidnapped and taken to Russia - is even bigger than many conspiracy theory pundits have suggested. Russia has graduated to be the #1 perpetrator of human trafficking in the world - and nearly all are children from Ukraine. But this isn’t a new strategy - the Soviets did this for many decades (it is how the Eastern Oblasts of Ukraine became somewhat “ethnically Russian” - The Soviets removed ethnic Ukrainian and other non-Russians and sent them across the giant country (eastward- including Siberia), and moved ethnic Russians in.

We lost about 58,000 men in the Viet Nam war that lasted for a decade. 250,000 Russian dead in just over two years implies that either war is getting much more deadly, they have terrible training and tactics, or a flawed strategic battle plan. Either way, they’re losing a whole generation of men that could be adding to the productivity of the country.
