Have you met ‘President Chuang’?

As President Trump and DOGE continue their attempts to dismantle the fraud and waste in our government, there are some judges who think that they can read the minds of both the president and Elon Musk, believing they also possess the power to overrule based on such assumptions, facts be damned.

One of the latest cases, from Obama-appointee U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang’s 68-page opinion, via NPR:

‘[T]he Court finds that Defendants’ actions taken to shut down USAID on an accelerated basis, including its apparent decision to permanently close USAID headquarters without the approval of a duly appointed USAID Officer, likely violated the United States Constitution in multiple ways, and that these actions harmed not only Plaintiffs, but also the public interest, because they deprived the public's elected representatives in Congress of their constitutional authority to decide whether, when, and how to close down an agency created by Congress.’

The judge has a major flaw in his decision. No “decision” has been made by anyone in the Trump administration to permanently shutter USAID. The work of the agency has been drastically reduced, including personnel, but some services are being maintained and overseen by the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

Judge Chuang has convinced himself of several distortions of events, thereby assuming that the president has violated the Constitution. His actions are so clearly partisan that even Democrats should be embarrassed. What are the judge’s blatant and deceitful attempts to upend the DOGE efforts?

He essentially accuses the president of lying:

In his ruling, Chuang wrote that ‘the evidence presently favors the conclusion that contrary to Defendants’ sweeping claim that Musk has acted only as an advisor, Musk made the decisions to shutdown USAID’s headquarters and website even though he lacked the authority to make that decision.’

The facts are that Elon Musk is only an advisor, whether or not the judge believes it, and is only permitted to take action with the president’s approval; that means that Trump is making the final decisions regarding USAID. The evidence Chuang cites doesn’t exist.

This is a hill worth dying on for the Presidency and his Administration. Let us go ahead and have the Constitutional Crisis that they dread so much.

There really is only one way around this.

Trump ignores the judges and makes the case to the American people why he’s doing it. He has to have the backing of the majority or this will probably fail.

He also needs to get most of the republican congressmen to support him.

There will be loud calls for his impeachment and one of Rats representatives will undoubtedly introduce such a resolution.

Then the judiary committee will hold hearing and vote on it. This is where things get interesting. Will all the Republicans, who have a majority there, stick together and vote against impeaching? Those that don’t will be committing career suicide.

If it goes to the full house, given the tiny majorly the GOP has it’ll probably pass.

Then on to the senate. That’s where things almost surely will end. For the senate to convict it would need 20 GOP senators to vote for conviction. I doubt very much that will happen.

This of course creates a huge “constitutional crises” in that it sets the precedent that the president can do as he wishes and willfully ignore the courts IF he has enough support in the senate (and the people).

To be honest, I don’t think that’s such a bad thing. It reduces significantly the power of the unelected men in black robes and it makes the two branches of elected people the final arbiters.

In essence what this would result into is a system where any two out of the three branches of government get the final say.

And if anyone has the balls to make this happen, it’s Trump.

The more I think about it the more I like it

What do you think?

If Trump goes by what he said the other day, that he will not invite a judges order, then his presidency will effectively turn into a dud. He will abide by whatever a judge says and he will be thwarted at every turn. Sure he will attempt to fight back in the courts. That’ll lazily wind its way through the slower than molasses appeals process as the left just runs out the clock effectively stalling out everything trump wanted to do.

He is trying to provoke them. So lets see who blinks first. As far as impeachment goes, not a big concern. This is a hill to die on, because of the clear nature that the Constitution outlines. It is a Deep State Bureacracy vs. the Executive Branch.

At some point in the the near future the people are going to learn just how much has been stolen and how many people are involved. And then things are going to get interesting because every one of these judges are among those.

Approval of the USAID officer???? Who is the Chief Executive..Trump as the elected POTUS. So according to this ninny, Trump must kowtow to the wishes of his subordinate. This is idiotic. When is Chief Justice Roberts going to end this perversion of the courts?

Great scenario re expecting - and surviving - another sham impeachment.

Why not?

If the Supreme Court does not correct things, this may be the only way to break the logjam the DS/Dems/Rogue Judges have purposefully created.
