The Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed following the order of the country’s President and Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin, as stated by Russia’s Defense Ministry.
There were seven Russian combat drones in the air as Putin issued the order to temporarily cease attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Six drones were downed by a Pantsir air defense missile and gun system, while the seventh UAV was obliterated by a Russian fighter jet.
During his phone call with US President Donald Trump on March 18, Putin backed POTUS’ idea of Russia and Ukraine halting strikes on each other’s energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days.
“Zelensky's declines Trump's energy facility ceasefire and attacks Russias oil facilities!
The Kavkazskaya oil transshipment station was attacked in Kuban was shut down.”

Did an Obama judge order the drones to return to base?
Looks like theater to me, why “down” them when they can just be returned to their base?
i dont know why Russia would even stop the war. They’re doing really well now.
That’s a good question, about commanding a return to base.
If they are targeting energy facilities, it would be done via latitude / longitude pre-programmed into the drone. To prevent jamming there may not be an uplink for commands. It could be the equivalent of a bullet. Once it’s fired you cannot call it back.
If you want to build cheap and in huge quantity, that’s how you would do it. Avoid the cost of complexity of uplinks that might be jammed or spoofed
Putin is more trustworthy than Z.
Good one!
Fair point
“Looks like theater to me, why “down” them when they can just be returned to their base?”
I don’t know if that is such a good idea though. If you had just sent them out armed and ready to destroy would you want to risk bringing them back home armed and ready to destroy?
That would be similar to sending an ICBM towards another country and then turning it around and bringing it back home... Better to self destruct it.
Very interesting post. Thank you.
Yes I was already corrected, and for some reason I was thinking surveillance drones.
Still I would like to know how many drones were in the air since they average nearly 100 most nights. Downing a few again sounds like theater.
All that will happen is that Russia will stockpile 1000s of drones, and when the inevitable collapse of “ceasefire” happens, Russia will launch hundreds a night, and will claim that they didn’t want to, but Ukrainians attacked their radio station😎
This war seems to be a distraction keeping PDJT away from domestic matters. As if the Dems are purposefully using Z to do it…oh wait…
“Yes I was already corrected.”
Yes I saw that after I posted this. If that had come in a little earlier I would not have bothered you because it was already mentioned by someone else.
Sorry about that... :)
lol no problem, unlike some here😂, I can be wrong and accept being corrected.
Normally a “correction” like that would have included low iq, dimwit, zeeper, leftist xiden lover …. oh and a meme or two😎
Trump should use this to announce that zalenski does not act in good faith and is a dictator. And there will be no further help from the United States while zelensky is in office.
They may not even have landing gear.

Yeah the snarky, sarcastic Class Clown crowd.
I normally read through threads and if someone has already respectfully commented on an important issue then I just move on and leave it alone. No need to add to it and exacerbate it without need.
Sometimes someone will ask a very important question but no one helps them out with a “REAL” answer in the thread. Just snarky class clown comments. I sometimes go out of the way even a day later to show them some respect and help out with their very important question if I can. :)
I don’t believe the x post.
Their economy is a mess and Trump could make it worse.
