Maggie Kulyk, a progressive donor and activist in the Atlanta area, has a long list of worries about President Donald Trump: His moves to bypass Congress and swiftly slash the size of government, the financial fallout of his steep tariffs and his decision to install Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, in a powerful government role.
“This chaos is intentional, and it’s terrifying,” she said. But she’s also alarmed by the response from Democrats at the national level. “It has been astoundingly bad. It is as if we are dealing with an analog group in a digital world.”
Since losing the presidency and the Senate last November, Democrats in Washington have struggled to land on a unified message to effectively confront Trump, much to the dismay of some Democratic contributors and activists. The discontent has exploded in recent days over Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s vote – along with that of nine other Democrats – to advance a GOP-led funding bill to avert a government shutdown.
A new CNN poll underscores Democrats’ challenges: The party’s favorability rating tumbled to 29% this month, a record low – driven in part by its supporters’ views that the party should focus more on trying to thwart the GOP’s agenda.
Some in fundraising circles say the growing frustration is pushing some contributors to prioritize House or state-level races, rather than throw money into flipping the Senate, where Republicans currently hold 53 seats to 47 held by Democratic-aligned senators.

Democratic donors grapple with messaging, a feeling of despair, and an emboldened Trump
Maggie Kulyk, a progressive donor and activist in the Atlanta area, said “it’s terrifying.” She’s alarmed by Democrat response at the national level. “It has been astoundingly bad. It is as if we are dealing with an analog group in a digital world.”
Donors to the Demonicrat Party betray the United States. They should be held in utter contempt and are part of the sedition that is endemic with Demonicrats.
Donors?!
What donors?!
The only money that’s been used by Deep State has been stolen from taxpayers.
We’re just cash cows to Deep State.
emboldened = mandate
The proverbial dragon is eating its tail. The democrat activist base is obsessed — to the level of padded cell insanity — with race, gender, sexual anarchy, Trump hatred, and furious resentment of anything and anyone still rooted to the reality principle, which triggers massive cognitive dissonsnce. Darkness hates the light, and the activists’ and academics’ playbook does not extend beyond extinguishing the light. That wing of the party is now dominant, and it is now the party of destruction.
Rank and file democrats think the crazies are crazy but try hard not to think about it too much. They prefer to watch TikTok, go about their lives as best they can, and stumble along in a stupor. Orange Man bad, the Republicans want to create a Christian nationalist theocracy with women and black people reduced to chattel, so let’s watch Netflix.
The big donors are left liberal, but most of them are not Soros level, self-conscious agents of revolution. They have money, enough to know that they have a lot to lose. For the most part, this money was earned by some profitable enterprise or activity that required functional competence. That’s a tether to the reality principle. People in mansions in gated compounds do not want to burn everything down. They’re beginning to understand that the revolutionaries will kill them too.
The donors want leaders who are sane. And that’s something in short supply in the activist wing of the party.
What does it take to break through a lifetime of denial? This is a very old story as radical revolutions hit the rocks. It’s still hard to beat Whitaker Chambers description of the young woman, the daughter of Western diplomats in Moscow during the blood purges: “One night she heard the screams.”
Today? It will take an historian of high rank to sort it out; the assaults on the reality principle have been coming too fast to keep track. In terms of the democrat big donor base, October 7 may stand out as a watershed, as disproportionately Jewish donors discovered that the activists they were funding were all-in on the slaughter of Jews, or at least willing to go along in the name of solidarity as the radicals drive the bus straight into Hell.

Wonder what the poll really said. They always have higher for their polls as Democrats.
The anti-semitism on campus hit the children of wealthy Jewish Democrat donors hard.
Now President Trump is fighting their battles for them.
No good deed will go unpunished.
Lol.
“ No good deed will go unpunished.”
Who performed what good deed?
President Trump issued an executive order on anti-semitism on campus.
He partially defunded Columbia and is currently investigating sixty other universities for their anti-semitism.
Good to hear.
When all you have is hate and fear, you have nothing to offer.
The “feeling of despair” should be that they gave the Kamala Harris campaign $1.5 billion and she blew it on nonsense within 90 days. That is a record of monumental waste and fraud that played these donors for suckers.

"Maggie Kulyk CEO and Founder, Partner. pronouns: she/they. "
This is what is called a golden calf Jew.
It isn't the messaging, it's the message. DNC messaging has done exactly what it was designed to do -- get out the DNC message. The message sucks. The DNC sucks.
