U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday agreed on steps toward a total ceasefire and peace deal to end the war in Ukraine, the White House said.
Trump and Putin “agreed that the movement to peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire,” according to a White House readout of a call between the two leaders, which lasted at least 90 minutes.
The Kremlin said that Putin agreed on Russia and Ukraine refraining from attacking each other’s energy infrastructure for 30 days.
Putin “immediately” issued an order to that effect to the Russian military after the call, the Kremlin said.
The White House said the two leaders also agreed to “technical negotiations on implementation of a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea, full ceasefire and permanent peace.”
Those negotiations “will begin immediately in the Middle East,” the White House said in its readout.
The call came more than three years after Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine on Putin’s order.

Russian refineries are being pounded. Of course this is the cease fire that Putin wants.
Zelensky may ask Democrats to supply another Ryan Roushe.
It is a very pro Trump agreement.
He talked about powerplants the last few days. Clearly, he meant the many powerplants on the Zelensky side of the Dnipro river. Note how much rail transport is electric there. Suspending attacks on those power plants is the carrot for Zelensky.
As I noted elsewhere, you cannot “destroy” much of anything with 3-5 lbs of explosives on a drone. You can hit a nat gas pipeline supplying the fuel for the burner under the crude tank at a refinery and that pipeline can be damaged by even just 5 lbs. But you turn a spigot, shut off the gas flow, repair the pipe and resume operations.
The crude tank itself is tougher but even if that is set on fire it’s only 2 days to put it out and replace the tank. Meaning . . . the media reports of hits on refineries are pretty absurdly sensational. An equivalent event on the refineries along the Gulf coast would be resolved in 48 hrs.
But.
This will look to Trump like a cessation of obstruction to Russian flow — which means more global supply — which means lower oil price and THAT is what matters to Trump. That is the path to lower inflation and lower interest rates, to his analysis (which isn’t bad at all).
It’s a step, and apparently the Kremlin ceased their hits on the Ukraine powerplants. If another attack on a refinery happens, they will inform Trump and give him 48 hrs to stop Zelensky, and then resume attacks on the power infrastructure.
It’s a pretty solid deal for both sides.
Actually dude, CNN, being the globalist, anti-Trumpers that they are, would likely applaud the never ending war. A few more thousands, or hundreds of thousands dead? For them, it’s a case of, ‘You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.’
The globalists are prepared to fight to the last Ukrainian, in an attempt to break up Russia. Not necessarily because it is Russia, but because Russia isn’t THEIR globalist! Zippyyy is not just a tool, but a GLOBALIST tool!

One more time, the only Russian majority province is Crimea. Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhi all have Ukrainian majorities. Additionally, the stories about “Nazi Azovs” attacking ethnic Russian civilians is pure myth. Do not accept Russian propaganda at face value.
