The U.S. no longer represents the values of freedom therefore it should send the Statue of Liberty back to France, a Socialist French Euro-deputy demanded Sunday.
Raphael Glucksmann, of the Socialists and Democrats group, told a cheering convention of his Place Publique leftist movement how disappointed he is in the U.S. and why it should not keep what was originally a gift from France:
Give us back the Statue of Liberty.
We’re going to say to the Americans who have chosen to side with the tyrants, to the Americans who fired researchers for demanding scientific freedom: ‘Give us back the Statue of Liberty.
We gave it to you as a gift, but apparently you despise it. So it will be just fine here at home.

Return it to whom? The Frog mud hole of tyranny? I don’t think the “New French” will approve of a female without a hijab.
My first thought upon seeing this title was, “I love the Bee.”
Putin can give you a new one!
France is a democracy. While it has some nutcases in its National Assembly, they don’t speak for France. Even the President of France, while he DOES speak for France, he has a limited time in office.
Our relation with our fellow democracies should be based on mutual advantage, mutual respect, and mutual love. Yes. While we, and hopefully all citizens of democracies, love our country, we hope that we all love each other. Eventually, for the entire world - not one world, but a world of nations - to be joined in mutual advantage, respect and love.
With regard to France, we should honor Lafayette and the other international volunteers who joined in our revolution, seeing in our revolution not merely a new nation but the cause of freedom. We should also honor the army under Rochambeau and the navy under De Grasse that joined our army under Washington at Yorktown. The French should remember our army that proved decisive in winning WWI and that liberated France from the Nazis during WWII.
Our relationship has been sealed by the blood of many.
Vietnam? You mean the financial aid before 1954?
I would have done a better job if I had photoshopped it myself, but heck, now they have AI for that!
I would stick it right there, Normandy.
Those guys at least deserve it. Not so much their current descendants apparently.
WHEN CAN THEY SEND SOMEBODY TO COME PICK IT UP?
Well, you can’t give somebody something and then take it back
That would be like...like...like...
Let’s go to dinner, I made reser....err, “arrangements”
Amen. 30 years ago you didn’t hear about these people
Correction:
The U.S. no longer representsthemacron's & globalist values of 'freedom'...
Come and get it. LOL!
One thing I would give them is that stupid poem that some think has the force of a constitutional amendment.
>>The U.S. no longer represents the values of freedom therefore it should send the Statue of Liberty back to France,
France no longer represents the values of freedom either, and hasn’t for a long time now. So why should it go to France?
No, it’s just that the funding of the marxists has been cutoff, the light is on in the kitchen, and the cockroaches are everywhere and screaming.
I believe there is an additional madness going on in the world, especially since COVID-19(84). I’ve lost several friends since then (a good portion of them took the jab, too - personality changes)
I would say things changed significantly in 2008, a ways before even that (late 2019/early 2020). That’s when you saw all those idled ships in the Indian Ocean and all the parked commercial aircraft in the USA.
Then along comes Henry Kissinger and he says: “Obama is perfectly-positioned to lead a New World Order”
I thought the Antichrist had arrived
Well, maybe just his predecessor
Then you have all these men who want to pretend to be women - it was always around - but not so prevalent - truly bizarre
That was never part of the gift, that crap was written by a communist girl here in America.
funny socialist is an authority on freedom
