Or forgive all student loans and take the cost out of the endowments.

Better yet, tax all “private” schools as “for profit” enterprises like many non-traditional for-profit schools are. Treat them like the true businesses they really are.

However as Thomas Sowell found out, trying to get a true bead on the finances of our colleges, the regulations for schools to determine “net profit” are first going to have force massive changes in the accounting practices of colleges, as it is entirely opaque and designed to hide and confuse, not make clear.

Yes, these wealthy corporations should be forced to pay their fair share.

Why would a true Christian want to “Soak the Rich”? Their fair share should be good enough.

It’s time to tax non-for-profit hospitals. Make them pay property taxes. They charge a lot more for the same service versus the private practice arena. They claim to do charity work, but only 10% of the population is really uninsured and most of them by choice as these are young people who choose not to buy insurance. These corporate entities are just a big non-for-profit shell game to launder money.

Capital gains tax and dividend tax on endowments is long overdue. There is no national interest in supporting elitist, leftist institutions where a large portion of the student body is composed of foreign nationals.

IF we really want to punish the “colleges” then you need to pull their accreditation. That is what is the stake through the heart. F em.

Don’t just tax them, seize them and use them to offset the student loans Sleepy Joe forgave.

The predatory universities are the ones who exploited dumb 18 year olds and convinced them to bury themselves in student loan debt. That is RICO territory in my book.
