Here's what I don't get...Schumer said no Dems were involved in the CR negotiations....BUT....

Isn't the CR just a continuation of Biden's budget?? So they had 100% involvement before our CR.

Yeah I see this as a go ahead...make my day kind of situation. I think the dims political calculus is they see some upside but I think the exact opposite will happen. This could turn into a disaster for them.

To get the CR to the Senate floor for a vote, 8 or 10 dems will have to vote with Repubs to break the filibuster, right?

Does anyone believe this will happen?

If the vote fails, and the CR doesn't make it out of committee, and the gov't shuts down, whose fault is that?

Trump's fault. If that does not work we can blame the Republicans, then the Christian Dominionists, the Islamophobes, the trans-hating parents that want to exclude trans-women from girls sports leagues, and finally the old reliable target, the Zionist Jews.
