De Blasio: ‘Unclear’ message hurt Democrats in 2024

Former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) said Thursday that Democrats lacked a clear message during the 2024 campaign cycle, leading in part to their defeat in the race for the White House.

In an interview on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” the progressive pushed back on the suggestion that the Democratic Party’s embrace of liberal policy positions lost them the election.

“I think what happened is the Democratic Party lost touch with some of the things that … the progressive movement was saying that people cared about,” de Blasio said when asked “how badly” he thinks Democrats “misread the American electorate” in 2024.

De Blasio said progressives were “strong” on issues that mattered to voters like health care, affordable college and raising the minimum wage.

This retard again. I will never forget that cringe moment of him eating that cheeseburger and talking about the covid shot.

There’s nothing ‘unclear’ about your message now.

It is always about how well they can lie, not the actually policies with them.

Yep. Their message was very clear. Pro-illegal alien. Pro-Hamas. Pro-Trans. Pro-DEI.

“Unclear” will be the title of Kamala’s autobiography.

I think “kill more babies” and “let’s cut off some penises” was pretty crear.

De Blasio said progressives were “strong” on issues that mattered to voters like health care, affordable college and raising the minimum wage.

Progressives already destroyed healthcare, exploding the monthly cost for the average family by about $15-20,000 per year.

Affordable college to them means paying off student loans of others. Sorry, that's not a popular position either. And the only REAL way to make college less expensive now is to get government OUT of the equation, and no Democrat would ever vote for that, on any topic, ever.

Raising the minimum wage... it's already $12-15/hr for most of the country. How much higher do you want it??? How many jobs do you want to kill by going even more too far on this?? Is $100/hr enough?? Why are you so devoted to spiking inflation yet again??

Oh, and by the way, the Top Ten issues that voters ACTUALLY care about, according to Gallup in 2024:
The Economy
The Border / Immigration
Terrorism
Education
Healthcare
Guns
Abortion
Taxes
Spending / Budget deficit Crime

You touched on only one and a half of those ten... and by "Education", most Americans are focused on local public education, far more than college tuition.

Transgender issues was #22. FYI

Oh. I think the message was quite clear.

So was the response at the polls.

The message was very clear: Dems support government bloat, overseas war, leftist social engineering, and public, tax-payer-supported sexual perversion and mental illness.

Our problem is there is no Giuliani successor. My suggestion would be Tyrus. My only fear is his girth. He could drop like John Candy.

The rats have not moderated one bit. They have decided they need to cheat just a little bit more and they will be back in power.
