When Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered up
to 200,000 soldiers into Ukraine,
his aim was to sweep into the capital, Kyiv, in a
matter of days.
He wanted to overthrow the pro-Western government
and return Ukraine to Russia's sphere of influence.
Putin failed, but more than three years on
a fifth of Ukrainian territory is in Russian hands (Excerpt)

For the same reason Bill Clinton porked interns: Because he could.
A crass distortion of history.
Nonsense history.
If you want the truth, don’t look to the BBC
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!(((PING!)))
“A crass distortion of history.”
Looks like it’s SPAM TIME, yet again here.
It doesn’t matter. The ONLY question now is how badly the Neocons get spanked from this stupid adventure. And right on the heels of their ‘successful’ adventure in Syria, with 10,000 Christians massacred in just the past few days.
It’s Back. 😂
Total 🤡
I recall one Joseph Robinette Biden making a statement to the effect that “a minor incursion” might not result in massive retaliation. Quite similar to April Glaspie’s remarks about Iraq and Kuwait in the summer of 1990.
All NATO had to do to avoid the Russia conflict was keep its promise to refrain from expanding NATO.
It started in 1990 when James Baker promised Gorbachev that NATO would not expand one inch further eastward if Russia agreed to the reunification of Germany, thereby officially ending WW II.

Gorbachev agreed, but within four years NATO began expanding eastward anyway.
The Russian invasion occurred when NATO began teasing NATO membership for Ukraine, whose name literally means "borderland" in Russian because it is on the border with Russia and has been the origin of numerous invasions of Russia in the past.
1. NATO Putting pressure on his west.2. China gave him the ok. 3.Biden being weak. 4. He might have thought that a quick thrust would make Ukraine fall, but he miscalculated. 5.He will still likely get the Russian speaking parts of Ukraine

I have repeatedly stated:

Zeepers only think in signularities. It is possible to think that Russia was wrong to invade Ukraine, and yet completely understand that they are rightly very paranoid about thete western flank.
FAKE NEWS.
It took NATO a long time to provoke the war they wanted. NATO overthrew the Ukraine in 2014 and started building a military and arming it, having the recruits dig fortifications for the next 7 or 8 years. The Western Ukraine wouldn’t stop shelling Ukrainians of Russian descent in Eastern Ukraine. The Ukraine denied the existance of all the bio warfare labs and the fact that they were experimenting on unwitting civilians and Russian soldiers. The UN refused to look at the evidence. And then when NATO was ready to try to force regime change in Russia, they announced that Ukraine could become part of NATO, which would park NATO weapons on Putin’s border.
But NATO’s proxy war against Putin failed. And here we are, reading your fake thread post which continues to rewrite history.
Sadly, your Comment #10 summation is probably correct.

From the comments so far, you're going to need support...IF they show up.

Does aol still work?
Exactly !!! 👍
Thanks for posting this.
It was to keep Ukraine out of NATO and about the USA funded Bio labs.
Something the USA promised wouldn’t happen.
We start and fund almost all wars. To keep the weapons manufacturers rich.
