Getting really tired of Rands “Principles”. They are starting to look more like virtue signaling. The guy gets nothing done when his side is out of power and thwarts his own when they are in power. How about give Trump a chance and take a brake from accomplishing nothing other than being able to say you always held the line.

I can see both sides of this.
I have to admit that the thought of the federal courts shut down for a few weeks in a government shutdown brings a big smile to my face.

Hey give them a break as most Republics in Congre$$ just want to protect the millions they’ve earned on their $174K through $193K Congre$$ional $alarie$.
He could keep re-proposing whatever he has. Use his celebrity and notoriety to get out in front of all Americans and get them on board to pressure their own senators. Seems like he’s cool to just complain for a soundbyte then back to whatever.
Sometimes I think he goes against the grain just to get attention.

Again, he could hammer the podcast circuits. Travel the country and campaign on it, put out anything in the way of shocking the whole of American conscious to supporting him and pressuring all the senators.
The only time I hear about Rand Paul is when he complains for sound bytes.
So, what you want to “get done” is to continue funding at the rate of last year, with all the same budget line items...
