Good for them but maybe they should have turned over a limp body to the police
When the courts stop rendering justice, its administration, however flawed, reverts to the people. It has been said that many of the murders in Chicago are revenge killings by aggrieved friends and relatives of victims who have absolutely no faith in the Chicago criminal justice system.
Vigilante justice will be coming to a neighborhood near you.
People learn what you teach them.
The attacker in this case learned that there are no consequences for viscously attacking someone.
And the victim learned that California does not care about her, or her injuries.
Not “viscously” but “viciously” in my post #4.
If my autocorrect keeps doing this, I will have to give it a stern warning.
Sonoma County Superior Court Judge Dana Simonds
Accessory after the fact.
Judge cites several factors
What they’re saying:
Simonds cited the defendant’s cannabis use, stress, and mental health issues as factors in sentencing Colombano to probation instead of prison, according to the Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office.
If my autocorrect keeps doing this, I will have to give it a sterno warning. Lol
What does one have to do to in Santa Rosa be locked up?
Too bad the victim cannot sue the judge who for some reason, insisted on this light consequence for a brutal, random, life altering type of beating.
If this poor woman decided to go public, take a few televised interviews, and allow the public to see the damage done to her, this act may persuade the judge to do the right thing, but I suspect 96% of such victims do not even want to think about going on camera in their present, battered condition. For one thing, it would revive the trauma for her daughter and niece who witnessed the beating.
He can join a women’s sports team and disfigure her legally. Ain’t that right Gavin.
“Simonds cited the defendant’s cannabis use, stress, and mental health issues as factors in sentencing”
So, based on all the stressed-out whining we are seeing and hearing from laid-off federal workers, they all have a ready-made defense if they go berserk.
Why not, No other justice has been.
Maybe if he had killed her, they would have put him away. Maybe.
A sterno warming would be even better.
America’s new Slash and Stab program. Try it, it’s fun and there are no consequences.
I don’t know how to extract his photo, but it’s in this link:
A few liberal judges found hanging around on lampposts might be needed.
And anybody on cannabis learned that their cannabiis use is a “Get out of Jail Free” card.
Wow! Marijuana is now a golden ticket. Who knew? Seriously, ever since it was made legal, crime and homelessness have soared. I think there is a connection.
