President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order Thursday suspending security clearances held by employees of the law firm that hired Fusion GPS, which produced the infamous Steele Dossier in 2016, Breitbart News has learned.
A White House document provided exclusively to Breitbart News by a White House official states that clearances held by those who work at Perkins Coie LLP “will be immediately suspended, pending a review of whether their access to sensitive information is consistent with the national interest.”
“The Federal Government will halt all material and services, including sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) access provided to Perkins Coie LLP and restrict its employees’ access to government buildings,” according to the document.
The order will also prohibit federal agencies from hiring Perkins Coie LLP employees, barring specific authorization, and it “will prohibit funding contractors that use Perkins Coie LLP.”
There will be a “rigorous” review of all contracts between the law firm and the federal government, and agency heads will be directed, as legal, to terminate contracts.
“The practices of Perkins Coie LLP will be reviewed under Title VII to ensure compliance with civil rights laws against racial bias,” the document adds.

They HAD security clearances? Why?!
Let’s see them go to court and get a judge to force PDJT to give them back.
Because even Black Box projects are subject to the laws. I have a child who is a lawyer for a different firm. My kid will sometimes be sent out Midwest to review contracts for such projects or review labor disputes in those projects. A clearance is required.
This is a big deal. The left has harassed and disbarred attorneys that represented Trump. But no bar association will ever disbar or sanction a left-wing lawyer from a powerhouse like Perkins, pretty much regardless what they do.
So this is some tit-for-tat that is long overdue.
LOL the court can’t and the Dem’s know that. That would be a one way ticket to precedent-ville stopping a lot of petty judges on injunctions after that.
Cleared counsel (like me) are necessary in order to advise and represent government contractors who are unloved in classified contracts.
Perkins Coie... if that's not the belly of the beast, it's close enough to scratch it. If you could squeeze that tube of toothpaste hard enough, you could set the deep state and the cabal back a fair piece.
Bigger than most realize, it stops cold a very big revenue stream for the law firm.
Thank you.
Why in the first place? Sheesh!
Unloved!
Gotta love autocorrect!
Trump just cut their revenues by what, a third?
Could their law licenses be taken away, too?
Is there a room booked at GITMO for Hillary ?
The beauty of Trump removing clearances from so many, imo, is I think no one saw this particular move coming and there is literally no recourse or way to prevent it.
Theoretically, yes, but not by Trump.
Rational consequences. Their actions leads means they cannot be trusted with any sensitive information.
Next: Audit Amalgamated Bank. 🏦
“Perkins Coie LLP”
The belly of the beast. An outlaw bunch specializing in lawfare. E-V-I-L from top to bottom, especially Marc Elias.
Thank you, President Trump.
Why do law firms have security clearances? Is this customary?
