Hampton Dellinger Backs Down, Ends Legal Battle Against Trump After DC Circuit Court Allows Firing to Proceed

Hampton Dellinger has finally backed down and ended his legal battle against President Trump.

President Trump fired Hampton Dellinger, the Special Counsel for the Office of Special Counsel last month, however, the Biden holdover continued to fight Trump in court and was successful because the case was assigned to a corrupt Obama judge.

However, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday evening allowed President Trump’s firing of Hampton Dellinger to proceed.

The appeals court granted a motion to stay Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s order reinstating the Biden holdover.

The three judge panel included: Henderson (George W. Bush appointee), Millett (Obama appointee), and Walker (Trump appointee).

Following the ruling from the DC Circuit Court, Hampton Dellinger said he is ending his legal fight with Trump.

“I’m ending my legal battle so my time as Special Counsel and head of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC) is now over,” Hampton Dellinger wrote in a statement, reported by Politico.

I guess he read the writing on the wall!

Trump wins this battle.

Or, more than likely the Democrats read the writing on the court and decided they didn't want SCOTUS to confirm the lower court's ruling. Such a ruling would confirm Trump's article II powers over the Executive branch.

The Special Council of the Special Council finds out he’s not so special after all. What a downer that must be.

Is Hampton Dellinger gay? He looks like an aging twink.

I bet he is upside down on all his loans too. It's going to be hard to find another do-nothing job.

He was likely told to stand down, they do not want to risk SC precedent established where Executive Power is acknowledged and this would have forced the SC to take a side.

The shadow government will continue to go right up to the edge with law fare but try to stop short of letting it get to the SC.

Now they have to go after Judge Rudy Contreas and the Merit Systems Protection Board ruling from Tuesday.

Contreas ruled in favor of board member Cathy Harris. That position relied on the same language as the Dellinger case.

By the way, Trump just pulled the security clearance of Perkins Coie law firm. That’s former Marc Elias’ firm. At one point during the Russian collusion criminal scam, the FBI even had an office in their firm.

Good move by Trump.

Cathy Harris should be detailed to the Antarctica science station while the legal battle continues.

Then if they get her fired they should wait until the middle of the night and swat her igloo.
