See, I Told You So (Justice Barrett should step down.)

With each passing day, Justice Barrett is demonstrating why she had no business being appointed to the Supreme Court. Indeed, she should have never been put on the "short list" before she decided a single case. And I'm not sure why she leapfrogged over so many other qualified candidates in Indiana for the Seventh Circuit seat. Justice Kavanaugh was described as the most qualified Supreme Court nominee in modern history. Justice Barrett, by that standard, would be the least qualified Supreme Court nominee in modern history….If the goal was to give Chief Justice Roberts a wing-woman, mission accomplished.

I'll lay down the marker. I think Justice Barrett should step down. I don't think she actually enjoys this job. I can't imagine her family actually prefers the swamp over South Bend. I don't think she enjoys being the focus of the political storm. And I am fairly confident she does not like President Trump.

The next four years will be a never-ending series of balancing acts to avoid ruling for Trump. And to what end?

And if Barrett steps down and is replaced by someone in the mold of Justice Thomas or Alito, then Chief Justice Roberts will be sidelined for the foreseeable future. His shenanigans only work when he has a fifth vote. Roberts may see fit to step down as well. I don't think he really wants to be here either.

All the more reason to resign, then.

“..should step down..”

Yes, but, has that ever happened with a Supreme Court judge, who was not in extremely poor health?
Besides, just like ‘The Wise Latina’ and ‘The Non-Biologist’, Judge Amy is probably convinced that she is doing her part to ‘save’ the country.

I’m surprised she hasn’t tried to make one of her kids a tranny yet. Virtue signaling moron.

She and Roberts both have to go. They have to be gone before Americans will ever again get a fair shake in their Feral courts full of little wannabe gods. They belong to the DNC.

None of the three have impressed me completely like Alito or Thomas, but Amy Conehead Barret is of course the worst by a longshot

She’s going to step down because this author thinks she’s unhappy?

Ok.

If we can get them out, we can get Trump to try to track down a couple fair justices who are ready to put America and Americans first. It will be a task but I believe President Trump can find a couple of fair and honest American justices.

“I am fairly confident she does not like President Trump.“

If this is truly the case, I feel compelled to comment.

Barrett doesn’t portray herself as a woke liberal. If she did, I’d give her a pass on disliking Trump, because it’s a normal part of their abnormal ideology and they openly admit their opinion of him.

But Barrett presents herself as a conservative. Conservatives have no rational or ethical excuse for disliking Trump.

It’s kind of ironic because when she was mentioned as a serious candidate; the left went ballistic. Pretty much saying she was Satan reborn. Did she change that drastically???

“So who short-listed her? Was it the heritage foundation or?”

If I had to guess, I would say it was Mitch McConnell. He probably told president Trump which candidates had the best chance of being confirmed by the senate.

McConnell has always preferred the least conservative option. Sort of like when he tells the voters who the best qualified candidate is during election cycles.

This author might be taken seriously if they were to make a rational argument with out all ad homine personal attack, the self idolizing narcissism and the petulant moaning about how hard his life is in the bubble world of his imaginary world as a supposed “brilliant” commentator and thinker.

Reading this I suspect this narcissist thinks he should be the replacement
