Trump: ‘America Will Not Put Up With’ Zelensky’s Anti-Peace Rhetoric ‘Much Longer’

President Donald Trump said the United States “will not put up with” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s anti-peace rhetoric “much longer.”

Trump took to Truth Social after the Associated Press reported Monday that Zelensky said peace between Russia and Ukraine “is still very, very far away.”

“This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!” Trump wrote, sharing an image of the AP headline.

“It is what I was saying, this guy doesn’t want there to be Peace as long as he has America’s backing,” Trump added before zoning in on the meeting between Zelensky and European leaders over the weekend.

In a way, this is a secondary consideration. What matters is what the Ukrainians think. I know that idea doesn’t register on FR, but there it is. Other people exist. They have their own opinions and passions, and their own capacity for suffering.

Remember when Obama told Medyevev or whatever the heck his name is that “This is my last election, I will be more flexible with you” NO ONE in the media asked what he meant by that

Putin was never going to let them in NATO and we knew. Putin was only going to put up with eastern Ukraine being attacked for so long and we knew it. The war pigs wanted him to invade.

If Ukraine could beat Russia all by itself, great! Go for it!

Russia has moved more to production war footing. Ukraine, unless it has a massive infusion of manpower and supplies, is unlikely to maintain. There best hope for victory was a brokered peace deal. That would only happen when Vlad the Invader had problems with resources or tanks rolling towards Moscow. Safe to say that Vlad is probably looking at significant resource problems in the next few months, but Ukraine is short of people now. Ukraine can’t survive even with manpower without the United States, Europe doesn’t produce enough war material to float it.

You know damn well the war started in 2014 with the Maidan coup sponsored by Obama and his henchmen

Russia was going to take Crimea and Ukraine, eventually. That Obama and Biden were involved in Ukraine internal affairs before, is immaterial. Putin had ambitions to go after all of Ukraine, regardless of any kind of involvement by the U.S. or NATO.

Sure they have a right to defend themselves, but we’re under no obligation to continue throwing money at them or to send our young men into harm’s way for the corrupt Ukraine government.

"But wait a minute, didn’t Putin invade the Ukraine? Doesn’t the Ukraine have a right to defend itself?"

First of all, the war started the the CIA's Maidan coup in 2014. Second, if the Ukraine wants to keep fighting we do not owe them a dime. Zelensky strikes me as an idiot who refuses to acknowledge that President Trump campaigned on ending the war and he lives up to his promises.

Doesn’t the Ukraine have a right to defend itself?

Sure it does. It has no right to a single American weapon or dollar or even a jote of intel.

None.

If you mean after a US-sponsored coup, agitation for NATO membership that is opposite of long-stated policy to the contrary and persecution of ethnic russian citizens, then yes.

BREAKING: President Trump has HALTED all weapon sales to Ukraine, and is considering freezing weapon shipments from U.S. stockpiles, per WSJ. The U.S. will also no longer finance weapon purchases for Ukraine. If Zelensky wants an endless war, he’ll have to pay for it himself. We’re out.
