They may try but Russia would have to attack a NATO nation unprovoked in order for us to be obligated to join their war which they initiated unprovoked.

That doesn’t mean Russia would not misinterpret it.

I think if the US military leaves Europe and if we leave NATO, Europe had better think long and hard before deciding to put their boots in Ukraine as peace keepers
