At 38:56, is where it really gets interesting. Trump says, basically, Zelensky has “tremendous hatred” for Putin - “and I understand that” - but visa versa for Putin, and (basically) you can’t negotiate if you’re not neutral. Trump says he is “aligned with the World” and is for The US, because that’s how you get a deal.
Vance reinforces that point, saying that Biden’s diplomacy of “thumping our chest and pretending that the President of the United States’ words mattered…more than actions” failed, but Trump’s way will work”.
Zelensky then says that from 2014 thru 2022, Putin engaged in several acts of encroachment and killing across several administrations. There were several deals, but Putin didn’t abide and kept on the offensive. Then, Zelensky says “What kind of diplomacy, JD, you are speaking about?”
JD tells Zelensky it’s disrespectful to “litigate this in front of the American media” and raises Ukraine conscription.
Zelensky says, basically, America is protected by oceans from attacks and “don’t feel now, but you’ll feel it in the future…”
Trump: “You don’t know that….don't tell us what we’re gonna feel…”
Then it gets exciting. Indeed, at 44:22, Vance reminds Zelensky and the world that Z campaigned for Biden.
Based on the tweets, Zelensky is doing damage control.

Tweets won’t cut it. He needs to call the President and VP Vance and grovel with contrition. Then go on TV and apologize to the American public.
Maybe he is ready to get down off his high horse just a little and understand that he has ZERO blackmail leverage over the new administration?

Zelensky has damaged the negotiations. Someone in the Democrat Party and media has a smile on their face. Trump is 10 steps ahead of them. Zelensky does not have the political skills to be successful. The Democrats are leading him down the road of failure, just like their party.

Zelenskyy asked for security guarantees during the meeting meaning Ukraine in NATO. That was off the table. That would obligate all or WWIII.
But how does a US mineraldeal any different in providing security?
Europe can support the thug. We need to wish Zelensky well and walk away. There’s been ZERO accountability on the billions we’ve given him and our weapons have shown up on the black market.
Walk away - let Europe support the ingrate.

The rat Governors had statements ready to go right after this. I think this was a set up to keep Trump from negotiating an end to the war. They know if Trump does that he will be unstoppable

I agree. He did not adjust to the new paradigm. He doesn’t get that the U.S. is done with his crap. The Dems lead him down a “primrose” path.
