Am I missing something?
There’s one sentence and a picture at the site.
Sorry.
Apparently, I had exceeded for monthly free allotment.
I like Reuters so maybe I will pay for subscription
Oops!
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
bttt
Yes, indeed. There are two sentences. But there is a picture, so there's that.
We do have to move fast. DC swamp things will do anything to drag their feet and slow roll any change in hopes to keep power and money.
I don’t think we can avoid a recession this year. The time to cut spending has long passed US fy 2025 deficit @ $838B thru Jan 25
Let it come. Let it hit hard and recovery will be swift. The midterms depend on actions
Start with NATOA and overseas bases. He nixed $1 trillion ther without any issues. It’s been proven Russia is a paper tiger. Then for 1/2 of both the FBI, and CIA. I’m sure 1 million federal employees will take up the remainder.
“”There are two sentences. But there is a picture, so there’s that. “”
And a picture is worth a thousand words so that takes a lot of reading.
“And a picture is worth a thousand words so that takes a lot of reading.”
I apologize for post.
Perhaps, this 60 year old movie will more than compensate:
DOCTOR ZHIVAGO is a 1965 historic epic movie set in Russia during World War I and the Russian Civil War. The novel written by Boris Pasternak was banned in the Soviet Union for decades.
Although long, the movie will not disappoint. “Doctor Zhivago” was nominated for ten Oscars (including Best Picture) and won five. Also, the movie won five awards at the 23rd Golden Globe Awards including Best Motion Picture.
Adjusting for inflation, it is the ninth highest-grossing film worldwide in 2022. In 1998, it was ranked 39th by the American Film Institute on their 100 Years

Another example of plagiarism by “REVEREND”-mommy.
What’s your source for this info.?
Pasha: The private life is dead - for a man with any manhood.
Zhivago: I saw some of your ‘manhood’ on the way at a place called Minsk.
Pasha: They were selling horses to the Whites.
Zhivago: It seems you’ve burnt the wrong village.
Pasha: They always say that, and what does it matter? A village betrays us, a village is burned. The point’s made.
Zhivago: Your point - their village.
Another search: "Although long, the movie will not disappoint." A simple Google search for the text yields tow hits to -- this thread on Free Republic.
In this case, the source is herself, cobbled from IMDB:
As to Dr Zhivago, it was published in the USSR in 1988. Here is an interesting take on things by the BBC. Note article's date.
How the CIA secretly published Dr Zhivago BBC, 24 June 2014.
And to add to the larger picture: CIA query for Doctor Zhivago CIA Publishes Doctor Zhivago in Russian and Exposes Life in USSR under Communism.
The link to "watch for free" is the trailer, with an Apple TV price to watch of $ 3.99. We needn't do that, as we have long had the DVD in our library. The depiction of life over one hundred years ago as applicable to today is an assertion, but valid when one compares NYC of the same period -- during the Bolshevik Revolution. Or the life in Weimar Republic of Germany compared to life in Germany today. Or Paris of 1910 with the historic flooding from the Seine as opposed to today and the historic flood of economic migrants. Drawing connections from age to age is often a difficult thing.
