On January 30, Pocahontas shouted into a microphone that “There is nothing in the Constitution that says ordinary citizens have a right to see what we spend our tax dollars on.” Aside from the frightening implications of such a statement, Senator Warren is so far off base that she’s not even on the field. As an attorney, she should know better.
Article I, § 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution says:
No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.
Questioning Grok AI yields an answer that the highest broad brush level of disclosure, limited to gross receipts and Department level funding, satisfies this provision. This may have been adequate at the Founding, but with the proliferation of departments, bureaus, and agencies, it is no longer a “Statement [of]… Expenditures of all public Money.” A proper description of the present state of affairs is, frankly, NSFW.
Enter DOGE.
Using computerized tools that operate many multiples of the speed of any human, DOGE has been able to create forensic maps of where all the money has gone. In short, it’s an automated method of observing Sutton’s Law: Follow the Money.
Like most working stiffs, I thought USAID was a way that “aid” money got to foreign governments and organizations. Boy was I wrong! Yes, the “AID” part was “Agency for International Development,” but that didn’t seem to make much difference. Big Balls Coristine and his band of merry men let the cat out of the bag. Large chunks of that money were being laundered into the pockets of Democrat organizations and operatives.
Politico has been widely reported to be a prime recipient of federal dollars.

Yes. The fact that we are stopping the source of funding to communist groups around the world is HUGE!
Without that money they won’t be able to donate to democrats and they won’t be able to pay for rioters.
“There is nothing in the Constitution that says ordinary citizens have a right to see what we spend our tax dollars on”
Did she really say that? Such arrogance and hubris.
Anyway it is now evident that we need to see exactly where it goes.
All budgets for all departments and agencies should be made available, and in as much granular detail as possible. They do have accountants and auditors and comptrollers so it wouldn’t be much of a burden to publish their work to websites. They just don’t want to for many obvious reasons, not just that they have things to hide they also don’t want scrutiny and criticism.

Watching leftists and Trump supporters public utterances lately reminds me of a unbelieving village priest - who is always mouthing off platitudes about what the Bible supposedly says, misapplying it, quoting verses out of context and so on - and a “Bible thumper” who keeps catching and correcting and calling them out. Leftists are ignorant of both Scripture and the Constitution, and it shows constantly.
It is already happening.
That is, cutting off US government foreign “AID” funds is already affecting democrat party organized domestic protests and rallies!
Our ABCNNBCBS evening news are no longer flooded with large parties of identically-clothed identically-raced “protesters” all carrying identical professionally pre-printed signs, and placards and banners.

I despise Warren. However, I have searched high and low and cannot find any substantive evidence that she made this quote. There are a number of X posts attributing this quote to Warren without any evidence such as a link to a video of her saying such nonsense.
She didn’t say this.
It’s becoming laughably obvious that NONE of these politicians has ever actually READ the Constitution.
Elon and Trump - working within the Constitution... (unlike democrat filth..)

I checked. Neither the term "Department of Government Efficiency" nor the acronym "DOGE" is in the US Constitution.
That Trump47 has assigned the powers and duties enumerated in Article I, § 9, Clause 7 of the US Constitution to an ad hoc committee he has chosen to call the DOGE is an entirely different kettle of fish from the DOGE being mentioned in it.
It's no different from claiming Bail-Bondsmen are "in the Constitution." They most certainly are not, but the 8th Amendment just as certainly provides for their function.
A credentialed journalist shouldn't conflate the two.
