Back in a more sensible time anyone with a disease or condition that had the potential to prevent or interfere with their ability to be effective under all conditions was rated 4F.
That could include vision and hearing problems, issues that required ongoing medication, etc.
Some sob story in the MSM of a trans person that can do their assigned job (small minority), cries all over the camera, and states she/he/it really wants to serve their country in 3...2...1...

As directed by the Secretary ofDefense in his February 7, 2025, memorandum, "Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness," it is Department policy that, pursuant to Executive Order 14183, "Prioritizing Military Excellence and Readiness," the medical, surgical, and mental health constraints on individuals who have a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibit symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria are incompatible with the high mental and physical standards necessary for military service.
The attachment to this memorandum provides supplemental policy guidance and establishes a reporting mechanism to ensure Department compliance. The policy guidance in the attachment: (1) supersedes any conflicting policy guidance in Department of Defense issuances and other policy guidance and memoranda; and (2) is effective immediately and will be incorporated into respective Department issuances, as appropriate.

Service Members and Applicants for Military Service who Have a Current Diagnosis or History of, or Exhibit Symptoms Consistent with, Gender Dysphoria4. Procedures.
4.1. Appointment. Enlistment, or Induction into the Military Services.a. Applicants for military service and individuals in the Delayed Training/Entry Program who have a current diagnosis or history of, or exhibit symptoms consistent with, gender dysphoria are disqualified for military service.
b. A history of cross-sex hormone therapy or sex reassignment or genital reconstruction surgery as treatment for gender dysphoria or in pursuit of a sex transition, is disqualifying.
c. Applicants disqualified pursuant to sections 4.1.a. and 4.1.b. of this attachment may be considered for a waiver on a case-by-case basis, provided there is a compelling Government interest in accessing the applicant that directly supports warfighting capabilities. The applicant must be willing and able to adhere to all applicable standards, including the standards associated with the applicant's sex.
The MSM is SO good at one-off sob stories. They are pathetic that way. How many people do the sob stories really influence? Are minds so weak and stupid that one or two sob stories should determine all of our military readiness and effectiveness?
There are people who are born with two sets of equipment, one for each gender. One set is usually developmentally and hormonally more dominant that the other and they are treated for it when still young.
Unlike a tranny, who has a psychological perverted desire to mockingly dress in a stereotype of the opposite sex he or she has no matching equipment for, and often a desire to fake surgically, the people actually created by God to be genetically both male and female, with both sets of equipment, aren’t trying to be something they aren’t and don’t have a drive to be a twisted stereotype dresser of one or the other. These do not have the psychologically disturbed traits commonly observed of trannies nor the demanding transcult ideology that others must be forced to recognize and affirm trans fantasies as “real.”
Many people cannot think.
They are not taught to use logic / to use reason.
That is why when it's a case of reason vs. emotions: feelings, group think / bandwagon, appeals to authority, appeals to celebrity, almost always win today.
In that respect, IMHO, society is moving backward. People are taught that their feelings matter and are real, that there is no greater offense than to hurt someones feelings, and they are NOT taught the mechanics of logic and how to construct a sound argument, they are NOT taught how to detect the fallacies and how to avoid them.
I am not kidding. Look at advertising as the perfect example. Go back to 1970 and look at a car commercial. The adult male shopping for a car back then looked at “specifications.” It was not unusual to see someone open the hood and crawl under the car to see how easy it is to change oil oneself. It was all about the actual measurable features of the vehicle. Look at a car commercials today. They are selling a “feeling.” It's conceptual. They are selling you how you want to see yourself. It's all about “feelings” while the actual product can be a POS.
Another example, look at news reporting. Go back to the 1950s and you'll see “just the facts ma'am.” The news reported. Today the news journal. They are like a blog, wildly speculating and trying to appeal to feelings, even going so far as to exaggerate the effect (placing children's toys at the scene that weren't actually there just to make you visualize a child being hurt). Politicians, business, the MSM, social activists... they all use these “appeals to emotions” because they work.
