Markelly giffords wouldn’t know the truth if it punched him. A disgrace to the Navy, astronaught corps and senate.
I think Trump is trying to goad the Russians here. He’s trying to be their “friend”, but knowing if they refuse, he can then turn around and go harshly at them.
With Trump, he can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. It looks like Putin is choosing the latter.
“With Trump, he can be your best friend, or your worst enemy. It looks like Putin is choosing the latter.”
TRUTH! Which way will Putin turen? Most importantly... never turn your back on Putin.

Trump tells Putin to end ‘ridiculous war’ in Ukraine or face new sanctions

“Donald Trump has warned he will impose high tariffs and further sanctions on Russia if Vladimir Putin fails to end the war in Ukraine.
Writing on his social media platform Truth Social, he said that by pushing to settle the war he was doing Russia and its president a “very big favor”. (Excerpt)
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Sen. Mark Kelly exposes the truth: Everyone is lying about Ukraine | Opinion, pierrem15 wrote: I've heard the same thing for three years. In fact, the Ukrainians have retaken part of Toretsk the past few days because Russia has once again exhausted it's local reserves.
That's bizarre reasoning. Ukraine has desperately conscripted it's MIG maintance crew and some pilots as they run out of warm bodies to heft to the front. Towns change hands a few times, but the Russians continue to advance. A long time ago (23/24) UK NATO military told Ukraine the UK just didn't have anymore ammo to give them (the rate was low and declining). Remember the useless obsolete aircraft NATO gave Ukraine? F-16's etc? None of it helped. The NATO/UKRAINE proxy lost.
Russian glide bombs are also now being disabled by Ukrainian jamming.
Big deal - US supplied HIMARS have been disabled by Russian jamming within about 2 months of introduction. Given we're talking about glide bombs and HIMARS, do you think it's a problem that Ukraine lacks air defenses and Russia has air defenses and air dominance?
It's not even clear who would win the war of attrition if Ukraine keeps killing Russians at 8-10:1.
Why would anyone believe that lie? Why would Ukraine bother to tell the world they kill 8 to 10 Russians for every single person they lose? No one in their right mind would believe it. Ukraine is circling the drain, unable to procure or manufacture ammo, unlike Russia, which produces all it needs.
Ukraine infrastructure has been flattened, millions are now refugees, there are cities without a single building standing (according to Trump, who says 'That's 110 year reconstruction effort!'), and the US has been paying to prop up the Ukrainian government (salaries, pensions, emergency services etc.). There is no functioning Ukraine without American dollars.
Contrast this to Russia. How many cities in Russia are now '110 year reconstruction efforts' due to Ukrainian bombing? What percentage of Russia's power grid is out long term due to Ukrainian attacks? How many of their pilots has Russia forced to fight on the front lines?
It's utterly insane to suggest there could be any 'win' for Ukraine. There's little for their refugees to return to - who wants to sit in the dark without running water while Ukraine tries to restore it's powergrid with Soviet era replacement parts from Russia?
“With reference to 2014, note also the Obama-backed USAID coup that preceded Russia’s takeover of Crimea.”
Translation: The Obama/Soros stench is all over the Ukraine War and what preceded it. Which figures. And in the background, skulking around and pretending innocence, the ChiComs snicker while their US puppets do their dirty work... and blame Russia, Russia, Russia.
Mark Kelly is a disgrace to Arizona! He only got into the Senate because of his wife!
Ukraine and Russia need peace, and Trump is the one to negotiate it! They also need a return of the true Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and an end to the phony one!
And the US, Russia, Ukraine, and most of Europe need an end to NATO!
“Do NOT box in your opponent during negotiations. I cannot write “The Art Of The Deal,” but I know at least this much!”
Two of my most favorite books.
1. The Bible
2. The Art of the Deal
Correct answer was NO! Russia started this mess by invading Crimea under the Obama administration.......
————
This war started during the 2014 Maidan incident, US intelligence agencies overthrew the elected President, President Viktor Yanukovych who suspended EU ties….many different theories.
“Sen Mark Kelly”:
Another leftist, inveterate liar.
Obama fomented a coup here in 2020, that still wouldn’t justify an invasion of the US by Russia.
Russia had zero justification to attack Ukraine.
That said, unless there is an act of God (like the aging Putin breaking his hip in a bath tub, or better yet, falling out a 4 story window) or there is regime change against Putin by someone who isn’t pleased about the 200,000 or so dead Russian soldiers, the easiest way to get the Russians to go back inside their own borders would be to give Pootie a way to save face, at least temporarily.
The glide bombs are a big deal: if they don't function, it's much harder to force Ukrainians out of fortified positions. HIMARS are still whacking Russian command posts and ammo dumps when the Ukrainians find them.
As far as casualty ratios: Just how many men has Russia mobilized over the past three years? Where are they? To ask that question is to answer it. Russia has even pulled naval units from the Far East and infantry from Kaliningrad into the Ukraine meat grinder.
If Russia's war production is so good, why is having to buy artillery and ammunition from North Korea? And both the US and Europe have dramatically increased artillery shell production.
As far as civilian aid goes, the Europeans are paying a lot more than the US, if for no other reason than paying Ukraine is a lot cheaper than paying for Ukrainian refugees in Europe. And just how much of Russia's monetary and gold reserves has Putin used up to fight the war in Ukraine?
It's as though the US attacked Mexico and still couldn't win after three years.
“This war started during the 2014 Maidan incident,”
Russian occupation of Crimea
Unmarked Russian soldiers occupying the Crimean parliament building
Main articles: Russian occupation of Crimea and Annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation
While Russian propaganda characterizes Euromaidan as a coup, the actual military coup was performed by Russia in Ukrainian Crimea on the 27th February 2014, when Russian military seized Crimean parliament and government buildings and replaced Ukrainian elected officials with Russian-controlled figures.[42][294][44]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revolution_of_Dignity#Russian_occupation_of_Crimea
Ukraine's actions fomented a coup d'état with help from the CIA. Then to exacerbate the problem they decided to wage war against the Russian speaking Ukrainians by outlawing the use of Russian to be spoken in government buildings, and refusing to allow Russian to be taught in schools. So, parts of eastern Ukraine petitioned for autonomy, and were denied. That in turn resulted in a breakaway movement. The reaction to that was for the Ukrainian Nazis to create hotspots where kinetic warfare started being waged. Putin tried unsuccessfully for 6+ years to secure a peaceful resolution, in the 7th year Russia began staging their military along their border with Ukraine. Nearly another year passed before the trigger was finally executed the invasion into Ukraine.
Yes, Russia invaded, but it was with cause, and it was the kind of cause that might provoke the U.S. to invade one of their neighbors as well, if bloodshed was raging on our border, and there was no one interested in helping to stop it.
No one was willing to stop it, because they all wanted to engage Russia in a proxy war with Ukraine bearing the brunt of that proxy war.
So, I can see why the person refused to answer the question while finally Trump is getting involved in doing so. He explained why he refused to answer the question. Not answering the question is not a lie at all, especially when a logical reason is given as to why refusal to answer the question was provided.
It was an easy task before Russia actually invaded, and would have been a easy task even shortly after Russia invaded, which is telling that Russia did not really want to invade, but it did want an end to the hostilities along it border, but that was not forthcoming even after the invasion. Now the negotiations become much harder.
Mark Kelly is a POS. He knows the truth, but he still wants to give the impression that invading was Russia's intent ever since the coup was executed. However, the actions leading up to the invasion, and the time lapse between when Russia began trying to secure a peaceful resolution belie the lie that Russia wanted more territory, and wants to take all of Europe.
Russia did not want NATO on its border, because the border it shares with Ukraine is an extremely long border.
Putin doesn't want Europe, because they are committing suicide, and in no time they will be easy plucking. Why would they want the expense & loss of life when in a decade or less they will be ripe for an easy takeover, with little or no resistance whatsoever?
Thank goodness you play no role in the security of this nation, or at least I hope not.
“Mr. Feinberg, did Russia invade Ukraine?”Feinberg could not answer the question with a yes.
That was a lie.
[...]
What Kelly left out was Feinberg’s explanation — that he could not definitively answer Kelly’s question because it could frustrate President Trump’s talks to end the Ukraine war.
The lie here is the claim that Feinberg lied. From the transcript it is clear that Feihnberg's response did not even suggest the possibilty that he lied.
Feinberg stated: "well what I was try trying to say senator is I don't don't think some person who's not informed on this not involved in discussions should make statements uh public that could undermine uh what the president and the secretary's intent is I do have confidence that President Trump is very strong at negotiation has a plan and that he will find a good outcome for America."
The article is just sick propaganda.

Stephen Feinberg, Deputy Defense Sec Nominee, Testifies Before The Senate Armed Services Committee
Forbes Breaking News
Feb 25, 2025
On Tuesday, the Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing to consider the nomination of Stephen A. Feinberg to be the Deputy Defense Secretary.
[TRANSCRIPT EXCERPT]
1:54:53 Mr Feinberg earlier you said execution would be your job and it's part of the job but I don't
1:55:01 think it's all the job you're going to often find yourself in the room and when things like as an example the
1:55:10 SE def few days ago said when asked whether or not Russia invaded Ukraine he
1:55:16 said it's complicated it's not complicated Russia did in fact in invade
1:55:23 our Ally Ukraine so Mr feberg would you agree
1:55:28 that you have a role Beyond just execution in offering some
1:55:34 advice when you hear things that are just fundamentally
1:55:42 inaccurate I do think the deputy should at times um give his view on policy um
1:55:50 for sure think it should be behind closed doors not not in public um and I
1:55:57 think it's important for the deputy to understand that he regardless of what
1:56:03 his opinion may or may not be that ultimately the secretary and the president will decide what the policies
1:56:08 are and it's important to execute it that's fair yeah that's that's good to hear yeah Mr Feinberg did Russia invade
1:56:18 Ukraine well um going to my behind close door's uh statement a second ago I'll
1:56:25 just say this um the um they mooved tanks and troops
1:56:34 and armored personnel carriers across the Ukrainian border it's pretty simple
1:56:39 question yeah well here's how if I may I if you would ask the chairman of this committee if Russia invaded Ukraine I'm
1:56:46 pretty sure the Republican chairman I'm pretty sure I would know know the answer I gotta however there's a very intense
1:56:53 there's a very intense negotiation going on now it's important for American interests I I'm not I don't have Mr
1:56:59 feberg we've got to live in the real world here yeah but I don't I mean things happen and it's obvious to the
1:57:04 rest of the world and I think it's obvious to Europe right now that we just blew up an alliance and for us not to be
1:57:11 able to say an obvious fact is it doesn't help a
1:57:17 negotiation well what I was try trying to say senator is I don't don't think some person who's not informed on this
1:57:24 not involved in discussions should make statements uh public that could
1:57:31 undermine uh what the president and the secretary's intent is I do have
1:57:36 confidence that President Trump is very strong at negotiation has a plan and that he will
1:57:42 find a good outcome for America.
The fact is that Putin has stated war aims he cannot achieve and needs a face saving way to back out.
The fact is that Russia has the power to achieve any aims they desire in Ukraine to the point of utter, total destruction and elimination of the Ukraine military. Various parts of Ukraine have been reduced to a moonscape and the Ukraine military have suffered catastrophic losses. When the conflict ends and the men do not come home, the enormity of the Zelensky lie about a total of 46,000 men KIA will be exposed and the Ukrainian people will desire to end him like Mussolini.
Ukraine needs a face saving way out that does not result in Zelensky hanging from a lamp post, only there isn't one.
There was no political violence in Ukraine until Putin's sock puppet went against the parliament to accept Putin's "deal" vs. the EU offer the parliament had accepted.
Anyone familiar with Eastern Europe's history knows that "deal" was to make Ukraine a Russian puppet state: Putin was already paying off Yanukovych and the Eastern Ukrainian oligarchs to support pro-Russian political parties. This was also after Yanukovych had severely weakened Ukraine's armed forces and after he had arrested its previous President.
Russian was the language of education, the TV stations, radio, etc. It was taught in every Ukrainian classroom except for some in far Western Ukraine. So exactly how were "ethnic Russians" being persecuted?
Putin provoked the political violence in Ukraine, and after his subversion attempt failed, he invaded directly.
The excuses you proffer are almost identical to what Hitler said about Czechoslovakia and Poland in 1938-39 about the "persecution" of the German minority, etc.
Putin has stated many times that would like to see the Russian Empire restored and even now is claiming he wants the rest of Kherson and Zaporazhia oblasts.
If Ukraine is such a "moonscape," How is it Kyiv is still functioning? Even Kharkov?
Even after three years you still can't comprehend the Ukrainian will to resist.
Sooner or later someone is going to get tired of the Kabuki Dance and tell the truth that everyone in DC knows which is that Crime Boss Joey was being blackmailed by the Ukrainians over his involvement in their graft and bribery system of government.
Remember that moron bragging about committing extortion and malfeasance to save Dollar Hunter’s drug addicted ash?
They do. They have Joey by the short hairs and he paid them with our tax money and especially printed inflationary money.
