EPA head urges Trump to reconsider scientific finding that underpins climate action, AP sources say

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a potential landmark action, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency has privately urged the Trump administration to reconsider a scientific finding that has long been the central basis for U.S. action against climate change.

In a report to the White House, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin called for a rewrite of the agency's finding that determined planet-warming greenhouse gases endanger public health and welfare, according to four people who were briefed on the matter but spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the recommendation is not public.

This appears farther down in the article:

"In a 2007 ruling in Massachusetts v. EPA, the court held that the agency has authority to regulate greenhouse gases as air pollutants under the Clean Air Act."

If EPA had the authority to make that bad decision, it has the authority to see insanity and reverse it.

CO2 is a plant nutrient and not a pollutant.

“The notion that the greenhouse gases do not endanger public health and welfare by causing climate change is preposterous,'' added Michael Oppenheimer, professor of geosciences and international affairs at Princeton University. Climate change caused by greenhouse gas pollution “is already interrupting life as we knew it in the last century and threatening much worse to come. To believe otherwise is a fantasy."

There is no living with these lunatics.

The “landmark action” was the one that gave government jurisdiction over the Earth’s atmosphere - and it was done for theft, not any “science”.

It is past time to end this thievery. End the so-called “carbon tax” money-grab.

“CO2 is a plant nutrient and not a pollutant.”

It’s also the world’s great conveyor of life because the carbon that the plants separate from it forms the body of each plant which is then consumed by animals, enabling the animals to survive. Equally important, the O2 that is released is also consumed by animals, including humans, to enable all of those animals to survive by oxidizing the nutrients they have consumed.

Say Professor Michael Oppenheimer, professor of geosciences and international affairs. How much USAID or other US Federal tax money do you get to push the Climate change dogmas?

Professor, please explain in a verifiable rational adult argument, without the habitual ad hominin unscientific histrionics, the top 5 ways “climate change” is currently “interrupting life as we know it now”?

Ah but you cannot. Because this is not since it is a secular religion where anyone who questions the Cult of Climate Change dogmas is a heretic who must be destroyed for their “denialism”

2007 ruling in Massachusetts v. EPA

The Chevron deference doctrine was overruled by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, decided on June 28, 2024. In a 6-3 decision, the Court held that courts must exercise their independent judgment in interpreting statutes, rather than deferring to an agency's interpretation simply because a statute is ambiguous. This landmark ruling significantly curtails the power of federal agencies by eliminating the judicial deference they previously enjoyed under the Chevron doctrine.

CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) standards are regulated by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA), while the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) calculates average fuel economy levels for manufacturers and sets related greenhouse gas (GHG) standards. Congress specifies that CAFE standards must be set at the "maximum feasible level" given consideration for technological feasibility and economic practicality."

End the CAFE standards!!

“Climate change” is a hoax to control the idiots. The “science” behind it is b*llsh*T and the “scientists” who support it are in it for the money and are clueless about ANY “science”.
It’s a lie and anyone who accepts it as “science” are stupid.

CO2 is a plant nutrient and not a pollutant.

Changes in global CO2 FOLLOWS changes in global temperatures.

The inversion of this absolute fact is what is the foundation of the man-caused climate change blame game.

This according to one of the founding members of Greenpeace and it's the reason he quit it.
