The world is in flux. Our much-discussed national vibe shift suggests that Americans are beginning to feel the change, but it understates what’s happening by a very large margin. What we’re experiencing is of global significance: the dawn of a new era.

You go to RCP and get flooded with adds then try to read their article only to read a bunch of filler pabulum and an inability to concisely make the point.
I mostly agree with the article just wish they would write for communication instead of to fill a page.
Not clickbait—definitely worth the read.
Interesting read... but I think we are further along than they do.
Age Of Aquarius?
DJT is definitely carrying water to refresh the tree of liberty.

There was a historian who wrote a book called something like the 4th Turning point.
Their argument was every 80 years or so the US goes through a watershed change that changes the political trajectory.
The start point is, of course, the Revolutionary War and the the founding of the Country
The next great turning point is the US Civil War and Reconstruction about 80 years after the founding.
80 years later and you have the next turning point which is the Great Depression, World War 2 and the start of the Cold War
80 years later is now. It would seem what is happening here is a political battle for the next 80 years of the USA.
Seems pretty clean the choice. The age of asparagus, age of asparagus . . .
Interesting. I read an article many years ago that stated that the 19th Century really ended and the 20th Century began in 1920 when there was a big change Worldwide, for instance from horses to automobiles for transportation.
It is a great thing to be watching. I 100 years they will write of our time and how we changed the world.
That is a good point.
